I have just seen someone (a grown adult) on Answers quote Lindsay Lohan.... Lindsay Lohan and her words of wisdom... I fcuking ask you??? Now don't get me wrong, I'm sure she's a very nice girl, but Nelson Mandela she ain't!

Is this a sad reflection on what our world is becoming with the people, especially the youth placing more value on celebrity than that of a teacher, nurse or doctor?

The Nit-Wits are taking over and there isn't a damn thing we can do about it!

Lindsay Lohan is a young 20 something actress (American) who as far as I see it has done nothing more dramatic than dying her hair from red to blonde....

Oxywhatever..... no Nelson Mandela is not the only person I could think of, but considering thicko yanks tend to wander on this site, it might be just someone they recognise as I couldn't think of any deserving Americans... and no lindsay Lohan I'm not thank god... what are you? Her brother?

Let them be,not everybody should be intelligent or well educated. More than half of the Americans when you ask them who Homer was, the only Homer that comes to their heads is Simpson, not some ancient guy who wrote something in 800 B.C. Why would they care? Look at the man running the biggest world military power, you think he has I.Q. over 90, don't think so,but hey, they are doing well.

I totally agree with you!! Sometimes I feel really sad that my children will be growing up in a senseless world where money and 'things' mean more than helping someone out or doing good unto others. Soooo sad, but true..........When the world's falling apart and changing.....GOD is always the same!! ♥

The trouble today is that the youth spend too much time on their computers and watching TV and do not read decent books.
