Do you believe in.....?

Question

...fate, destiny, karma?
...that you have a soul mate?
...that dreams can show you the future?
Why or why not? I ask because something really WEIRD happend to me.

There is no such thing as fate, destiny or karma, at least in the commonly accepted senses.

I have never had a soul mate.

No dream of mine ever showed me the future.

Why???

Because life is a story that grows in the telling until the day it ends, and then there is no more. We have no souls, therefore there can be no such thing as a soul mate. And the future doesn't exist, so we can't see it in dreams.

I do not necessarily believe in fate or destiny or that there is a pre-conceived plan. I believe that we can and do live out all possible outcomes of all possibilities in different dimensions of reality, simultaneously.

I do not believe in one single soul mate, as a lover. I believe that we have many soul mates or people that we keep on experiencing lives with over and over again though, who seem very familiar to us.

Yes, I believe that dreams can show the future, or some other outcome of another dimension, but that not all dreams are indicative of something that will happen in this lifetime. Some are just nonsense, some have to do with other lives or other experiences in other dimensions.

Life is weird. It is not a black and white as we'd like it to be. It is not straight forward. It is not all about the five senses. We are very much sixth sensory beings, we simply forget that part of ourselves or suppress it when we incarnate.

I can relate to you,sister.I DO believe in karma,somewhat.I believe that the good we do,we SHOULD receive in return.But although,in my experience,it doesn't seem to happen,I wish it could be that way.
The bad we do,I believe we get punished for it,in one way or another.We reap what we sow,especially whenever it's something bad.
Fate,destiny,soul mate,I have a strong belief in those things,too.I DO believe that things happen for a reason,whether they're good or bad.It's the bad things,though,I really struggle to understand what the reason is.
Fate in the sense that you're meant to be with a certain person,and share your life with them,I like to believe is true.The concept of destiny fascinates me.It makes me feel like not everything is out of my control.Because in destiny,things work in your favor,not against you.Destiny is when the good things are meant to happen.And when you're destined to have something really good happen to you,it helps me not fear punishment for the bad things I've done.The way karma does.
I believe that dreams can predict the future.I don't know about really,really major things,like a war or another terrorist attack or anything.Maybe some people,can have these kind of dreams.Like somebody who's called by God to prophesy about the future.
What happened to you?What kind of weird dreams have you been having?Have you been dreaming that you might meet your soul mate soon?I've had dreams like that,too.I don't know what they could mean.Maybe somebody will come into your life soon.I hope that these dreams aren't misleading you or deceiving you.I've had dreams that lied to me before.I believed something was gonna happen,that never did.
In your case,I would suggest to pay more attention to your dreams.And write down all the important details.And discuss them with a friend,or someone else you trust.Someone who has an interest in dreams,and figuring out their meaning.

I believe in a greater purpose, and that God already has my life planned (that might count as destiny or fate, i'm not sure)

I believe that God has a man picked out for me to marry, yes on the soul mate.

I also believe that some dreams can show the future. It's called prophesy. It happened in biblical times, and I believe it can still happen now.

Karma is the aspect of "what goes around, comes around"...the basic cycle of physicality here & the realization of human ability.

Yes, dreams can show you many things if you listen, & are given the chance to remember your travels.

Yes, we have "soul mates", but not in the sense that is common today...they are actually our spirit others (we are male/female entities, just like God/Goddess...not necessarily, and truthfully very rarely, will we connect for any other purpose than to recognize each other as our counterparts...not "mates".

It may take tons of books to make clear your questions, and even much more time is needed to work on the human and controversial answers.
Fate and Karma and many other religious doctrines are somewhat contradictory in Christianity and Buddhism, while Christ and Buddha are among the rare Greatset Educators of mankind.
So, I suggest that you should make independent investigation for your own interest and own salvation. God promises to guide any one who sincerely seeks for Him; and the Books of God are now at your easy reach on the Internet.

Of all of those, i only believe in Karma. Karma pays you back for all the good and bad things you do in life. Mind you, I usually just say, God'll get you for that!

i believe in free will .. i also believe in karma in a sense

i believe some dreams may be prophetic but it is rare and most are symbolic of daily events
