Not the real God, you idiots! That guy whose screen name was 'God' and he'd ask all these really religious and righteous questions, but then when you clicked on the question, his details were always something sexual, sacriligeous and, so freaking funny! Him. What happened to him?

As of lately I am seeing so many butterflies....and they don't migrate or anything close to where I live. And even if they did I would have noticed them before because I've lived here all my life. I just don't understand why they're around all of a sudden. I don't think its important to the matter but I've been exploring outside of my "religion" ( I was raised Catholic) and have been reading about the occult. And I think I've found the love of my life. I just don't understand what is happening. My boyfriend has been seeing alot of them also and he's in another state right now. So maybe it does have to do with him. I don't know. Any ideas?

Murder, rape, and pillage at Jabesh-gilead (Judges 21:10-24 NLT)

So they sent twelve thousand warriors to Jabesh-gilead with orders to kill everyone there, including women and children. "This is what you are to do," they said. "Completely destroy all the males and every woman who is not a virgin." Among the residents of Jabesh-gilead they found four hundred young virgins who had never slept with a man, and they brought them to the camp at Shiloh in the land of Canaan.

The Israelite assembly sent a peace delegation to the little remnant of Benjamin who were living at the rock of Rimmon. Then the men of Benjamin returned to their homes, and the four hundred women of Jabesh-gilead who were spared were given to them as wives. But there were not enough women for all of them. The people felt sorry for Benjamin because the LORD had left this gap in the tribes of Israel. So the Israelite leaders asked, "How can we find wives for the few who remain, since all the women of the tribe of Benjamin are dead? There must be heirs for the survivors so that an entire tribe of Israel will not be lost forever. But we cannot give them our own daughters in marriage because we have sworn with a solemn oath that anyone who does this will fall under God's curse."

Then they thought of the annual festival of the LORD held in Shiloh, between Lebonah and Bethel, along the east side of the road that goes from Bethel to Shechem. They told the men of Benjamin who still needed wives, "Go and hide in the vineyards. When the women of Shiloh come out for their dances, rush out from the vineyards, and each of you can take one of them home to be your wife! And when their fathers and brothers come to us in protest, we will tell them, 'Please be understanding. Let them have your daughters, for we didn't find enough wives for them when we destroyed Jabesh-gilead. And you are not guilty of breaking the vow since you did not give your daughters in marriage to them.'" So the men of Benjamin did as they were told. They kidnapped the women who took part in the celebration and carried them off to the land of their own inheritance. Then they rebuilt their towns and lived in them. So the assembly of Israel departed by tribes and families, and they returned to their own homes.

From what I gather about christianity, if you repent your sins, you can be forgiven and enter heaven. So, say you are a dictator, and you order people's death every day, and you kill and maim, and rape, and steal all day, every day. Then, on your death bed, at the final minute of your life, you repent and magically, you can go to heaven. Is this true? If so, then I dont see why people should have to worry about what they do while they are alive. All they have to do is repent before they die. Easy.

I've been curious about our use of "the late" so-and-so signifying that a person is dead. I don't even know where to start, but my best psudo-guess is that someone sometime ago was late for dinner one night because of his or her untimely death and the phrase stuck.

Now that I have your attention, I'd like some opinions on a fight club that a friend and I are starting. We got the idea recently when we were purchasing some boxing gloves. It struck me like lightning, "Dude, we need to start a fight club." So now he and I have it in our heads to carry this through. Starting off we are going to recruit fighters in our circle of friends and later on, slowly gain new members. My friend posted a similar question to this one and no we are not 14 year old underweights trying to act macho. I myself am in it for the, fun, competition, and fitness that comes from boxing. But of course we'll allow more than conventional boxing, other styles and forms are acceptable. Also we will be concerned with safety as we will be wearing gloves and mouthgaurds, and will have a first aid kit on hand. After we get enough fighters we will train, have fights, and when everyone is ready we will have matches with spectators. Gambling will be allowed, but 10% goes to the club.

I hear a lot of people trying to defend the bible by saying that they do not follow the old testamen. But why do people still beleave what it says like the whole 7 days thing? Why do you choose to preach one part but not the other?
