Free will makes absoultely no logical sense. How do you determine what is "God's will" and what is the sin of man? For example, a child who gets cancer...was it this so-called "God's plan" or from the free will of a parent that raised their child near a nuclear power plant that emitted radiation? Was it God's plan for 9/11 to happen? Or was the free will of the terrorists. Was it God's plan for X person to become a doctor? Or was it person had free will to study to become one? I've asked about why bad things happen before. The generic Christian response is either "It was in God's plan...you just don't understand it." When I try to argue against that, I get the answer, "It wasn't God's fault. It was the person who sinned."

Do you see where I'm going? Everything happens because of another person's free will. We get in car accidents because another driver chose to be careless. We become Christians because of the way we were RAISED or through the free will of others to help us, guide

Jew means a praiser of God-for my people that refuse the truth-we have a Messiah and God didnt lie-the temple is gone and where is our blood atonement- Moses said "The life of the flesh is in the blood and ive given it to make an atonement for our sins."

Two years ago, my daughter and me plus 4 dogs got lost in the vast forests behind Pontypridd in South Wales. We were besperate to find our way out, but were getting more and more lost by the minute. My daughter was getting very frightened and some of the dogs were exhausted. Then from out of nowhere came four men, two on scramblers and two on quad bikes. They went out of their way to carry me and my daughter, plus one of the dogs on their quad bikes to Mardi Mountain at the back of Aberdare. They lent us their mobile to get a car to come and collect us and refused any money for petrol or phonecalls. If it hadnt been for those four guys who just left and continued their ride, giving us help, we would have been stranded all night not knowing where we were or how to get home. They were truley heros and I still think of them to this day. it also made me love quad bikes. Have you ever had something like this happen to you.

This statement was made by a person with the name "crazyhumans."

"Understand that god is just a spirit that exists in you. It has no powers or strengths or miracles."

How could anyone say something like this?

I've noticed a trend on the jobs that I work. It doesn't matter how much you pay most people, they still do not want to work? All they want to do is find a way to be comfortable for 8 hours, and try to make it look like the company is the bad guy that is always trying to get over.

Jews do not believe Jesus was a prophet.

Almost any question on what Jews believe has Christians piping in to say we view Jesus as a prophet (WE DO NOT) or that the difference between Judaism and Christianity is just whether Jesus was the Messiah (the differences are actually VAST)

Why answer a question you obviously do not know the answer too?

More of a list, though I would like to see any additions that I haven't thought of. Here we go.
Christian Paradox: Ideas that Christians invented but even they can't explain

-The Trinity. They believe in 3 completely seperate gods but still claim to be monotheists?
-Hell. Often described as seperation from God, but if God is omnipresent (everywhere at once) how can you be seperated from him in any sense?
-Jesus sacrificed himself. How is it a sacrifice when you know you're not going to stay dead? He even said he'd rise back up in 3 days.
-Thou shall not murder. Except when God tells you to? Except when God sends an angel to do it, or does it himself?
-God gave us free will. But he created all ideas and possibilities and knows exactly what choices we are going to make.
-Humanity is roughly 6000 years old. But why do other civilizations have records that refute this?
-God created earth for man. Then populated it with huge flesh eating monsters that were everywhere?

If you believe in God, do you also happen to accept that science is a _process_ - one with no acknowledged 'finishing point'? Do you understand that science, by its nature, never claims to have 'all of the answers'?

And that a sentence like 'science creates more questions than it answrs' is not only completely true but an example of what is good and honest about science?

Just wondering...

99.99% of the people of this earth, prays mostly to: Budha, Pape, Alah, Satan, Maria and other saints, and they forgoth that GOD says: Do not pray to other gods or other things (man, animals, statues or else) just to me. So, it's right that we ask for forgivenes to these "humans" instead to pray to GOD??? He was right, in the last days the human kind will act like they are god, each one of them and just few of them will be saved.

I think people in receipt of benifits should be made to do a few hours work everyday- to help pay for their keep. Who else agrees? They would have less time to rob and to steal and to go looking for drugs. Any other ideas to keep the scum occupied?

I keep seeing people saying that they lose 28 grams or something when they die... they don't attribute this to the air that expires from your body, or any other scientific factor... they use this as a justification that there must be a soul...

So I ask, do souls weigh 28 grams?

that technically means i'm 'saved'..correct? i've read many answers on here that say it doesn't matter what you personally believe, but if you've gone through baptism etc you are saved. i mean i converted to paganism quite a number of years ago but i've got that baptismal hanging over my head. as for the confirmation i can't really say it was a choice, i was about 10 and did it because my parents wanted me to. i'm not looking to convert back, i'm happy where i am, but i'm just curious after reading a similar question.
