It is The TRUE Religion, The Message of GOD to us, so despite of all the efforts of the western media that are propagating AGAINST Islam (check out cnn, bbc, fox), Islam is still the fast spreading religion (Masha'ALLAH) 'coz Truth attracts ppl from wherever they are and when they find it, they accept it with their heart.
Those who dont believe the fact, check out the stats
According to stats released by usa in 1984, to determine the fastest spreading religion in 50 yrs from 1934-1984. They found out that Islam clearly leads the way by having around 230% convertees, while the second fastest spreading religion Christianity had sthg around 40% convertees.
i believe after 9/11 the conversion rate has definitely soared above it, so u can check out the stats urself and u'll know the Truth, but tell me if i m wrong.

Totally agree with you. The media is all a brain washing system. You have good and bad in all communities yet Islam seems to be the target all the time, they take things out of context from the Quran and make it sound like somthing it's not. There is no unity left anymore which is a shame. Back in the days, Jews, Christians and Muslims used to live in peace side by side. Its a shame things are the way they are, and people falling for it.

That kept coming on and I looked that up.
Propaganda! The people in Africa were forced to either convert or die. The news about that said If they quit they are killed so it is not like you walk away. If you were ever a Muslim you cannot leave. Kind of like Hezbollah winning the war.
They said it is more an illusion than a reality. If given the opportunity more would leave. More Muslims were saying that they didn't believe in god anymore and prayed only because to fail to do so meant death. When interview away from government officials said if they had a choice. They would not be a Muslim. Expressing a desire for freedom of religion.
You cannot use force to make some one convert and then say you are increaseing.

The media is using the faith of Islam and the muslims to further a more wicked agenda. The Muslim faith has grown in relevance to the population growth. There arent more muslims there are more people. And a percentage of those 'more people' are muslim. What you are seeing is the media agenda to petrify us into a 'trust-only-the-govt' stupor by trying to scare us to death and use the few muslim extremists to do it. The advent of Islam began in (approx) 667 AD. And historically speaking there are way more christian terrorists than muslims hands down. Take for example; Bloody Mary - Mary Queen of Scots or the Spanish Inquisition. the list is long and bloody.

Islam is spreading because, as in Dafur and Nigeria, for example, it is imposing itself with violence as it has always done.
The only campaign against Islam is to present it with its own actions.

I think it grows most in the most secular places, where there is a vocuum of unbelief

Affirmative Action. It's Islam's bad reputation that lures newcomers. Some then convert when they learn of it.

Okay, people. You know you don't know everything about Islam. Some people I guess do say that people "convert or die" as you say, but those aren't real Muslims. Alot of people learn by natural ways. They actually research it and find out about it, rather than think all Muslims are evil. (Ahem, does that ring a bell?) Just learn about it, read about it. I'm not saying "Convert, convert, convert!" I'm saying keep your mind open, don't be so one-sided.
