Then how come your so-called God hasn't cured her, Show me an example of one miracle that has happened other than what people profess to have happened. I have seen many so-called miracles but they were all hoaxes. You are the ones crying about why God is letting things happen to you? If that is the only reason for her belief in God, then she have a problem.
I say this again, God is only a spirit that exists in you. It has no powers or strengths or miracles. Give it whatever name you want. I have experienced many religions and have come to understand that God is what you make it to be. It is up to you to believe what you want. eg: You can be a muslim tomorrow and call God Allah or you can be a Hindu and call God Vishnu or Shiva or whatever or whatever religion you want to be and give God a name but you are still the same.
Chi-towns finest, people like you can only call other's names and you profess to be a believer in God. If that is the kind of God you want to believe in then shame on you.
Even Jesus has said "Look neither here nor there for the kingdom of God is within you". All you people calling me names and spouting your ignorance need to understand the religious texts instead of spouting off something that you read.

Allow me to take your confusion away, and comfort you again. For that is the reason why you asked this question. You became confused and probably a little upset about reading that persons opinion about what he thought was going on with religion. Perhaps that is what is going on with his religion. It may not necessarily be leading anyplace real for them. I myself have seen miracles, so numerous I could have started a blog to keep track of them. But what I need to tell you is that you have a lack of faith. Because if you didn't... then you wouldn't need to ask questions like this. You would be able to walk happy and nearly oblivious of the lost minded sin speakers. Maybe that is why they said the words that you saw. Because perhaps God is feeling you out, testing what you'll think about what that person has said. How will you react? Will you pass or fail this test? That person had to exist in order for this test to take place. Do you agree? Now isn't that the way to take something negative and turn it into something positive? That's all we're really trying to do here. Turn evil into good. Any questions, contact atri11ion on yahoo messenger.

Your Christian understanding in God is different from another's understanding of God. I also happen to believe that statement for myself. Then again I am not Christian.
Someone saying that is just as likely as a pagan saying that God is actually our Mother Earth, or a Hindo saying God is actually many Gods.
Don't discount another's beliefs just because yours aren't the same.

Obviously, they don't really know God. Or they would know the power He posesses. God is a spirit, yes, He exists in us, yes, if we allow him. We run him off sometimes ya know. Would you want to live in a nasty, smelly, vulgar, grotesque environment? Neither does he. He wants His house clean as do we. Or at least most of us like clean houses. He wants it to operate in a good fashion. No foul language, no evil thoughts, no bitterness or hard feelings, no actions against what is right in his eyes. Anyone who says this has not met the true God of life. He giveth, and he can take it away. Now that is power. He gave us life, because of sin, He will be taking that life back one day.

Face to face, it's because when air is passed from the lungs through to the mouth, it passes a voice box, which can be caused to vibrate. The mouth is then shaped in a variety of ways to produce variations in wavelength of the vibrating sound. We interpret this as human speech.
On a computer, it's because we have ten fingers, which can be used to press down on certain keys, each of which represent a letter.
Hope this helps.

That'd be someone who believes in a personal spirituality over an organized religion's opinion of spirituality. Didn't the Bible say not to judge people?

Sounds like a freestyle theist. so what? most theists are. everyone has their very own personal belief " vision" or idea as to what "God" is to them. many get this idea from someone who rebelled against the common idea of their day. Hence the many versions of Christianity, Islam etc.

It makes as much sense to me as any other conception of god. Since there is no credible evidence concerning the nature of god, the statement cannot be rejected ab initio.

christians really screwed up. Pagans believed magic is neutral neither good nor evil. when christianity came along magic became dark and sinful, therefore it was easy for christians like this to multiply in their narrow understandings of God and magic.

Why not? It's a reasonable theory that God resides in you as His temple. Therefore, your conscience and ethics should be all the guidance that you need.
