More of a list, though I would like to see any additions that I haven't thought of. Here we go.
Christian Paradox: Ideas that Christians invented but even they can't explain

-The Trinity. They believe in 3 completely seperate gods but still claim to be monotheists?
-Hell. Often described as seperation from God, but if God is omnipresent (everywhere at once) how can you be seperated from him in any sense?
-Jesus sacrificed himself. How is it a sacrifice when you know you're not going to stay dead? He even said he'd rise back up in 3 days.
-Thou shall not murder. Except when God tells you to? Except when God sends an angel to do it, or does it himself?
-God gave us free will. But he created all ideas and possibilities and knows exactly what choices we are going to make.
-Humanity is roughly 6000 years old. But why do other civilizations have records that refute this?
-God created earth for man. Then populated it with huge flesh eating monsters that were everywhere?

To Casey M:
So you're saying that when Jesus died.. God the Father and the Holy Spirit died too? If not.. doesn't this imply they are seperate beings?

Oh, and I was refering to dinoasaurs... just fyi.

To dreak:
I don't wanna go back over it point by point. But not a single assertation you made addresses the actual paradox. See my above statement on the trinity. Also, I wasn't refering to scientific evidence of the earth's age.. I was refering to actual ancient records kept by civiliazations that extend beyond 6000 years ago.

This is my last detail. The self-deception is mind boggling. All I'm seeing from Christians in the way of explanation is a restatement of the problem, nothing that even acknowledges a paradox.

The Trinity was made up by church fathers long after the new testament was written as a way to deify Jesus but stay monotheistic. You can't be omnipresent yet still not be somewhere, even Hell. If God didn't create dinosaurs, where did they come from? If you sacrifice your life for someone else, it's a true sacrifice because you die and stay dead. If you don't stay dead, what have you lost? The evidence against a young earth is overwhelming. For every incomplete piece of data that believers show to refute this, there are fifty to refute that one. If God is allowed to break his own laws.. why should we follow them? And how do you have free choice if your choice, and the circumstances in which you made it, were dictated long before you were born?

Yes it is a question...but you also think you have answered it but you are wrong I think on all of them.

Trinity: is not 3 seperate Gods, The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are the same guy.

Hell: God is not with you in Hell. He gave you your chance to be with him, and you said you didnt want to be. So he created another place for you to go.

A sacrifice: of life there is no greater sacrifice. If some guy who loved life and everything about it, jumpped on a grenade so that you wouldnt get hurt, is that not a sacrifice...would you aprreciate him more if he just took the shrapnel?

Murder: God created life, we belong to him, he can do whatever he wants, thats not for you to decide that its cool if you kill someone.

Free Will: Yes he did create all ideas and possibilities, and he does know what we will do next, but its still your choice on what you will do. He knows that you will make the wrong choice sometimes, thats what free will is, he might not like that you did make that choice, but he lets you do it anyway.

Humaity: There is also Scientific data that shows that Life is not more than say 6000 years old, and that the methods we are currently using are flawed. Don't forget, a few hundred years ago the world was flat and the sun reolved around it. That was proven to be true as well. At that point in time anyway.

God created Earth for man: And left the rest upto him. It is our responsibility to survive, expand, learn, love and everything else. It is our responsibility to find him, and he will be waiting for us with a huge smile and open arms.

#1. There is only one God. God chooses to relate and interact with mankind through three basic manifestations. The Father, The Son, The Holy spirit. That is all there is to it. 3=Trinity....
#2. God set up hell for satan and those angels who joined him. God is not there and will not be there...by His choise... God makes the rules and if He dods not want to be there He will not be there
#3 Jesus The Christ, whom you do not even understand, had the choise not to go to the sacrifice. And it was a sacrifice. Taking all of the sins of mankind, past, present, and future, into him self causeing God to leave Him, because God dose not alow sin in His presence, was the greatest sacrifice. The torment Jesus suffered prior to his cusifixion was nothing compaired to the suffering He suffered from all of the sin being within Him.
#4 at least you used the correct word"murder" the comandment is not to murder. It is not a commandment not to kill. In this mortal world dominated by evil it is sometimes necessary to kill.
#5 That is a debateable subject among those of the Christian Faith. As it dose not affect any ones chances to recieve Salvation, it may legitamently be debated... we of The Faith will know the answer one day... you will not... unless you choose to answer God's call to you and join us.
#6 This also is a legitament debatable issue, regarding the 6000yrs, among Christians. The other part about other records in other civilizations...dont think so... there are no legitimate records of such claim...only legend and myth
#7 God did not create earth for man. God created earth for God's purpose. We do not know God's purpose. Man was placed upon a fully formed and compleat earth... The six day creation is also a debateable issue among Christians. It also dose not affect anyones chances at Salvation. So the debate will go on untill God provides the answers... Again, If you want to know the answers you will need to joing us to be there when God dose reveal those answers.

The trinity is NOT 3 Gods its the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. Not 3 Gods, Hell is a separation from God meaning that you will not be hearing anything from Him and He will not be there to help you. Sure He is everywhere but not in hell like He is on earth. Jesus sacrificed his life and had his blood shed for our sins. He let his body die. Not his soul. You can't kill a soul. When a person dies their soul either goes to heaven or hell. And yes He did rise after he came from hell to prove a point and hope that more people would believe him. God does not murder people He destroys them...for a reason. And He doesn't tell us to murder He tells us to sacrifice people or animals. About the free will, He gives us free will. He didn't create all ideas and possibilities. Satan created some of them. God just points us in a direction and walks with us. I don't know about the 6000 years old thing. But about the earth....for man he created paradise but man was cast out when he sinned. When Adam sinned God cursed the earth.

First and foremost, Christians did not invent any ideas. Everything a true Christian says in reference to God or Christianity is directly from the word of God which obviously you haven't read. It is called the Bible by the way. I don't know who you have talked to but you are truly confused. I will take the time to enlighten you some. Your first point on the "Trinity" I can prove by 1John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one." By the Word it means the Son. On to your second point. Yes God is omnipresent but if you aren't a child of God then you are separate from him. That doesn't mean he can't be anywhere at anytime. Isaiah 59:2 says "But your iniquities have seperated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear." So in other words if you are a sinner you are separate from God until you come to him and accept him as your personal Lord and Saviour. I will end with this. Jesus died on that cross for you and for me and our sins that he knew we would commit. He endured all that suffering and pain for you and me. He endured the pain of the sin of the world as well. He felt all the wickedness as he hung there and was in agony for you and me. So yes he sacrificed his life and suffered there and also endured the shame of the worlds sins so that you and I might repent and turn to him and have eternal life with him in Heaven. He arose the third day and is alive but he didn't continue with life as it was on earth! His time on earth as a man was no more!

For your reference :
The Trinity is God according to the teaching of the churches which represent the majority of Christians. According to the doctrine, God is a single being existing simultaneously as three distinct persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Everybody knows that religions are invented by humans in order to have an happy ending at the end of our life, in my world we are just worm food when we die ....

Just because you don't understand Christianity...doesn't mean it can't be explained...I'll do what I can but you are asking Spiritual questions from the flesh. You either won't understand or accept the answers.

The Trinity: God the Father sent His Son Jesus (actually God in the flesh/natural) and our Counselor the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of God). That's not so hard is it?

Hell was created for Satan (fallen Lucifer) and 1/3 of the angels he lied to and took with him (now that additional souls are going there, it has had to expand to accept them all). God can do as He pleases, He's God. When we sin, we are separated from God and Satan has done his job. ((He's had more than 6,000 years of practice to trick and lie to us, he's pretty good at being evil.))

Jesus was here in the flesh. He had every temptation we all go through. He felt pain and loss. He even wept for a man He was going to bring back to life; because He could feel the pain of Mary and Martha. The time spent after His death until He arose, He spent in the pit of the earth...battling with Satan. ((Guess who won that battle? YES!!! JESUS!!!))

Again, we as humans need boundaries and limitations. God's rules apply to us. God is God and does as He pleases. You can question Him...but it would be like questioning your parents. ((GOD is our Heavenly Father...and He is like a parent.)) Who are you to question His motives? You can't see past your own life, He sees the entire picture!

He knows what choices we will make, this is true...BUT He doesn't force us to make choices. He is big enough to step back and let you fall all on your own. It's your choice to sin. YOUR CHOICE. You can do the right thing...and yet, you choose not too.

Let's see the record of which you speak. Let's see the records of the "other" civilizations. Show me the proof.

Yes, God created all the animals. Yes, it's true. Pretty cool too!

Anything else?

Just because you don't believe, God / Jesus still LOVES you and wants to have a relationship with you. He's not asking you to be religious. He wants a relationship. Salvation is free. You only need to ask for it.

May you find the Grace of the Living God and His Son Jesus!

Blessings!

If it is "god's plan" and is predetermined the exact day and time that you will be born and die. That means serial killers are just the tools of god and thus could not be held accountable for their action because they are actually performing god's work.

In that light I guess Hitler was one great tool.

As far as the trinity goes it is "three god's in one" I guess when they assemble together they become the super god but they are not so great by themselves. Or it could be that "god" is just a shape shifting doppelganger.

Maybe its the fact your limited analysis and ignorance leads you to believe that things are not real. Unfortunately we are all prisoners of our own mind and utilize in the current evolutionary state of existance just 10% of our brains capacity. So with that said...
- Why is the universe continuing to expand? Scientist have not explained it, does that make it unreal?
- The existance of who or what God is goes so far over your head that no human can even try to scratch the surface of this truly massive entity, so what makes you think you can hypothesize about the Trinity?
- Did Jesus not die on the cross, if I know Im going to die saving my best friend from a murdering criminal with a gun and I know Im going to heaven, does that make the act unsacrificial? I still did it for someone else, did I not?
-Who are you to justify Gods actions, do you even think you can come close to rationalizing any of Gods methods?
-Its still free will, is it not, just because God knows, you still do not...Is that not true, do you still not have free will, or is God wispering in your ear what to do next?

I cant add to your list and most of them I agree with. However, in response to the second one...is is logically possible to be seperate from God by not believing in him in my opinion. All the other ones bring up very valid points that i am sure have been discused time and time again by people everywhere...someday humanity will have the answers....
