Just let the High praises of God flow from your fingertips! Onto the Y/A webpages! Jesus loves to hear the praises of His people! So tell us what has God done for you lately?

Is it just me, or do you get incensed at how inane and incapable of basic logical thought some of the theists here are?

I swear, sometimes I just wish I could blow their brains out -- I'm not making a threat, and I don't mean permanently, mind you; just strike them dead for maybe five minutes or so, then revive them and go, "THERE, you SEE?!?! NO GOD, NO SOULS, NO AFTERLIFE!!! You're MEAT, UNDERSTAND?!?! NOW SHUT THE F*CK UP UNTIL YOU KNOW WHAT THE HELL YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!!!!!"

Probably wouldn't make any difference anyhow; in another thread of mine they demonstrated that the biblegod himself could come down from heaven and tell them their bible was a fraud, and they'd still insist that they knew better....

Dunno...is there some way of requiring taking a class in Logic & Debate 101 before allowing folks in here?

instead of fighting eachother, and insisting that our own teachings are the right ones, we basically center on the same morals. So instead of trying to prove out religion the correct one, why not try and unite all religions, and together create a peaceful world?

there are many questions LIKE this but not exactly...

Science has just found 3 more planets past pluto...for the past billions of years, we've believed there were just nine but now there are 12...unbelievable...

now, my question....

Is God the great one or is it just that our technology just hasn't been at it's best?

when our technology does get to that "great" point, will we be able to explain every question asked without using "God"?

some may know this already but, i'm NOT a christian...yet...i'm exploring christianity and learning more about God and his wonders. i'm just wondering about one thing.

I would say judo, because I don't mess with anyone. But if they come at me attacking, I flip them over with their own words.

That's Atheist CONTINGENT, not to be confused with Atheists and Co.

Well anyway, entertained by the "housewife and the mustard stain story" (which the atheists had promised was absolutely FAITH SHATTERING) I went back for more to see if my faith in the Risen Lord could withstand further attacks. WHEW! It still has, but I must issue a warning.

Believers BEWARE. Do *not* go to that website without the keen spiritual discernment to escape snares such as the following:

QUOTE:
What if Jesus tells stories that are completely untrue? For example, take Matthew 4:8 as an example: [ed: Now THAT's putting the repetition back into redundancy.] "Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor." The problem with this story is that the earth must be flat for it to work. From a tall mountain it is impossible to see "all the kingdoms."
ENDQUOTE

A spiritual vision is unimaginable for the spiritually blind, I suppose.

If the answer is no. Why do you have a relationship with God?

ASSUMING he created the universe is not an answer

Agnostic here, not wanting to convert anyone. If you believe the Bible is the word for word of God and morality is set in stone, this question really isn't for you, please hit the back button on your browser.

So, to people left who are religious and non-religious, what is your basis for morality and ethics.

If you say the Bible I respect that 100%; but would ask, how do you determine which parts apply today, and weren't put there based on the bias of the author/translator. One of the reasons I asked fundamentalists to not answer this question is their answers are all going to be the same, Bible is the word of God and Jesus blah blah, so for "real people" and not "robots"; do you have a criteria.

Other religions who don't take their religious book word for word, the same applies to you and your faith. What is the basis of morality.

For non-religious, what is your basis of morality?

If the question doesn't make sense, I apologize. Limited room.
