i recognize a white atheist lady. I doubt you and her can make it. She helps no beer. She hates a black guy playing a race card another post. And, she calls for you to have a job, 3 months out of the three hundred and sixty 5 days. She doesn't have self assurance that Goverment help and food Stamps, is called a existence's protection, and lengthy time period retirement plan. i will provide her your addy. We step out in faith.
You step out in faith everyday.
You have faith in the engineers who build skyscrapers that you don't want to fall on you, the car designers that you hope built your car right so it doesn't fly apart going down the road. You even have faith in the people who prepared you food or you would have not eaten it because it could have been poisoned. You have never met any of these people but you have faith in them and their work.
Why then can you not imagine that something out there created a beautiful universe, all the way down to you? We did not create God, He created us. He loves you and love is a good thing. He IS love. Imagine for a minute, no space, no time, no hate, no suffering. Only love. Why is this SUCH a horrible concept? Because if it is true you have to change the way you live out of conviction. That is always what it boils down to. You wouldn't want to change your "perfect" life. Right? All of our best efforts to get into Heaven are but filthy rags to God, don't ever forget it. You could save someones life, give all of your posessions to the poor, etc, none of it will get you into Heaven.
Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven. He is talking to your heart.
You will fight it and fight it. But the thoughts are always still there.
We were created to worship Him, that is the meaning of life and that is why, if you haven't found Him and accepted Him you are still searching; lost everyday.

God is on the inside, not on the outside.
Relationships between people (and all living things), when they go deep, are between the god at the core of each of us. If that is not there, then the relationship is only at the emotional and mental levels and will always lack something.

True. Believers are like those weirdos who think that movie stars are sending them such signals. Then the star has to call the police because the dolt broke into the bedroom. Their last words as they are taken away are, "Did you read my letters?".
Of course, movie stars actually exist. Believers do the same thing with an imaginary character.

How's that the same thing?
Do you believe there is a moon orbiting earth, planets orbiting the sun? A picture is worth 1000 words? Have you seen it yourself? You only see a sign of it and there is no way YOU can prove it yourself.
It's your own judgement on things. Somethings can never be proved, that's what FAITH is for. You can never prove feelings of another person for examples. You can only surmise by how they act.

I answered this already. It depends on what he writes. I have seen some amazing LETTERS from God. He has sent some amazing GIFTS. One of the greatest love affairs in history was through letter writing.

why do you want to compare a man to God? if you don't believe in Him, then you don't. DOn't question other people's beliefs. Everybody is different.
