Science tells us blood drinking is a big no-no, whilst literature provides a vision of immortality. A vampire does this to survive - though first, he must die [in order to become one]. Despite the myth, how can we be sure that drinking blood is such a bad thing? Perhaps all the signs of not doing it, is a step to finding that perhaps it COULD be done...

He who begins by loving Christianity better than the Truth will proceed by loving his own sect or church better than Christianity, and end by loving himself better than all.

Dose Revelation 8:1 prove there are no women in Heaven?

"And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. "

Smoking Kills and Religion Kills. Sensible parents don’t encourage their children to smoke. Sensible parents don’t encourage their children to learn religion. There are many different brands of cigarettes and there are many different cults of religion.

Smoking is legal and religion is legal but they both destroy lives. I think religion is worse overall, but I’d appreciate other opinions please.

I am surrounded by neighbors who dont like me but are buddy, buddy with each other. I have had problems with all of them at one time or another. But they all seem to be egged on by a distant neighbor down the street that is very intent on getting rid of me. He was preoccupied for a while with his next door neighbor who was a friend of my only friend down the street. However they broke up and now the ringleader of these issues is coming after me full force.

Currently my next door neighbor has been in a battle with me and been stirring up trouble for the past six months. I know he is just a puppet of this other guy down the street but I have no choice but to deal with my next door neighbor now. We just called a truce for a while but I know it is just so he can do his next plan of attack.

I cant move anywhere so how can live at peace with my neighbors?

Sodom was punished with "eternal fire" (Jude v. 7) it was totally destroyed due to the wickedness of the inhabitants. Today that city is in ruins, submerged beneath the waters of the Dead Sea; in no way is it now on fire. Likewise Jerusalem was threatened with the eternal fire of God's anger, due to the sins of Israel: "Then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched" (Jer. 17:27). The great houses of Jerusalem were burnt down with fire (2 Kings 25:9), but that fire did not continue eternally.
Therefor is the fire literal or figurative?

From what I've heard it sounds boring. In case I've heard wrong, just what do you do there?

Try answering the question without refering to the alternative place you can go.

My husband received an envelope marked "party tent rental" and then when I asked him about it, he hid the envelope. I have also heard bits and pieces to certain information pertaining to my birthday..like my stepson asked me, the other day, "can I have some cookies?" I said, "No, we are out of cookies, because there have been a lot of people in and out of this house lately." He says, "Oh yeah, your birthday party!" I said, "No, just visitors from out of state." Anyway, all of these things, PLUS more lead me to believe there is in fact a party for me, and it is obviously meant to be a surprise....my question is, and I did not "snoop" purposively, I just happen to be the one who gets the mail, and my stepson must have slipped....either way...if in fact I am correct and there is a party planned that I know about, how do you act surprised, so you don't ruin it for all who worked so hard trying to surprise you? I don't know when it is, or who is coming (so that is still a surprise)..

Okay, no critical answers here, this is just for info. And I would like to hear from those who are in the Jewish Faith.

As a Christian, I understand that the Jews do not accept Jesus as the Messiah.

In the Jewish faith, what exactly is the Messiah, and why was it that the Orthodox Jews do not consider that Jesus could be the Messiah.

Please no criticism of ths belief. I just want to understand this principle of the Jewish Faith.

Thanks for respectful answers

undertones involving immigration. I respect their views because they have the right to feel the way they want to. On the other hand i do not want them to send me anymore emails like this, the worst part is that they also sent it to my 8 yr old daughter, she has an account so she can keep in touch with family members that live far away. How can I approach them without offending them, they are very sensitive and the slightest thing will cause them to clam up. Example...i forgot to send a fathers day card to grandpa and they have refused to send birthday cards to my children ever since, not a big deal, but just an example. can anyone give some advice?

Not only due to less food eaten, let's say an anorexic looking (maybe not anorexic) girl eats 1/2 of what an average woman eats or 1/4 of a large lady. Does that mean 1/2 or 1/4 of the farts?

They own the City and West Bank, and if they didn't occupy the city then the Jews in Israel would get second dibs. Why is it so sacred a place for them? Jesus was born there but thats not their reason. If anything, don't you think Christians should have a bigger interest?

Let’s follow logic...
The universe is all there is, nothing can exist before it. It’s not like empty space that can be filled, not even by pure thought, or pure energy... There’s NOTHING... No time, no space, no dimension, no raw materials, no energy. It’s total non-existence. So either a) the universe was born with God and is thus 1) not about 13 to 14 billion years old but is eternal and 2) has not created God. b) Another angle would be that the universe created God afterwards but then this is just a circular argument, a vicious circle. The universe must exist before creating anything and the universe cannot exist without a space-time continuum. Where did the space-time continuum come from? Where did the raw materials or energy to create the universe come from? They can’t just pop into existence from nothing.
Don’t take my word for it, check the laws of physics...
Your thoughts?...

Is GOD pleased with us or did he think he screwed up?

Genesis 1:31 God was pleased with his creation.
Genesis 6:5-6 God was not pleased with his creation.

So which was it? And if he was not pleased, why do you think so and how do you think GOD is planning on correcting HIS mistakes?

I'm a Muslim so I might be wrong but I always thoungt that Catholism was a denomination of Christianity just like Methodists, Protestants or Orthodox.

Why is it I see that there are many people who say that Catholics aren't Christians? They all beleive that Jesus Christ was the son of God , don't they?

I was wondering because they always say you will be blessed with things if you forward them but cursed if you dont.

I dont believe them but three friends of mine did not forward them and all three died in tragic accidents. One died when he went ice fishing and chose to bring dynamite to open a hole in the frozen lake. Unfortunately his dog retrieved the dynamite and returned it to him. Another one woke up in a hotel room with his kidney missing and not believing in this stuff, he chose not to call 911. The last one was eaten by a land shark.

However another friend of mine did forward them and hit the lottery the next day and is now living it up.

So I dont know for sure.

I am moving into my 1 bedroom college apartment on Wednesday, which I am sharing with a girl I have never met before. (Nor have I ever had a non-familial roommate.) What kinds of things do I need to discuss with her? (In the least awkward way possible!) What is the etiqutte for certain things such as food...should we keep all our own things seperate, or share? I hope its a good experience, but I'm pretty stressed about it!

During the prohibition, the Church hired people to re-write the Bible, taking out any reference it made to alcohol.

Most Jewish scholars do believe that Jesus healed using Cannabis oil. Christ means anointed, and Jesus was anointed with Cannabis oil, which was washed away after he was baptized.

We know for a fact that everyone during those times using herbs to heal. What kind of herbs? Some of them were psychoactive. Datura, Belladonna, Cannabis, Salvia Divinorum, and whatever else happened to be around.

Why does Christianity promote using a dangerous drug like alcohol but doesn't allow a harmless plant like Marijuana? At least Islam is consistent in saying you shouldn't use ANY drug.

Genesis 1:29? [“Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed;”.]

Alcohol lowers your IQ, just what the Church needs to survive.
