Why does everyone always ask a latino person if they're from Mexico or Puerto Rico .... I never ask a black person if they're from America or Africa, never ask a White person if they're from Alabama or Idaho, never assume all Asian people are chinese ... what gives??? .... I'm from Ecuador and feel all latin people don't look alike, just, like all other races.

Isn't that 1 cor 5: 9 is the explanation by the apostle of the 2 cor 6:14 ? In that passage, the apostle seems to be clear about that passage reference (2 cor 6:14) and )I saw no reference or no prohibition to marriage at all to people who don't believe ....The only passage that talks about marriage is 1 cor 7...
Can anyone give me some explanations about that ..?

I worked with a Puerto Rican lady and I knew she spoke spanish, but wasn't sure of her nationality, so in conversation once, I referred to her as mexican (not meaning any harm or offense) and she quickly corrected me and looked kind of offended. She is not the first person I have seen to react like that? What is the deal?

she wants to get a job as a Wal-Mart greeter, but I told her that I would not come and visit her if she does because the thought of setting foot in that place gives me the dry heaves...not to mention that fact that she would have to hose off outside on the driveway before coming inside. Am I being too unreasonable?

according to tradition santa clause is a man who lives at the North Pole on Planet Earth. Explorers and satellite images have failed to detect the dwelling place of santa clause, so we be fairly certain that he does not exist. since the polar ice cap is likely to melt within the next 100 years, we will have further evidence that nobody actually lives at the North Pole.

How can anyone honestly believe that God did not create satan, evil, ect..It was his plan from the beginning. I worship God and love him very much it just makes him sound like he is so much less powerful when people use this Plan a plan b plan c theory.. Like God is incapable of forethought..come on wake up.

I asked this to see how most of you felt. At my job, and especially with the death of the princess, the mood was nonchalant. Most people said they could care less, that the princess never did anything for them, so it was sad, but life goes on in other words. Tell me did any of you feel the same way?

O.K. I finally found some other people in my area who are interested in occult stuff. I asked them to help me find a good book with spells and bindings because there are a few people who have gone out of their way to be destructive towards me and my family. I want to get them. But, my friends said I shouldn't try to do anything this year, " it's an 8 year" they said. What does this mean? And, do you agree, should I wait 'til next year to do a hex or binding?

we had al planned a four hour road trip to see Dave Matthews months ago but this guy has been a complete flake about the whole thing. doesn't return calls makes NO effort to hang out with us. i even had to buy his ticket which he has not payed for. this is one of my oldest friends and i hate to jsut ditch him at the last minute......but the other 2 people in the group and i have closer friends who would like to go and actually make an effort to see us. my idea was to tell Tommy that one of the people in the group had developed mono and since they couldn't go it would not be the same and then this weekend not answer my phone?? either that or hold a Survivor like bonfire and vote him off the island type meeting??? what should i do i am open to suggestions.....

I wanted to know what the meaning of the chokers with the beads on it was. I was at the NY Renassiance Faire and bought one and the guy working there was a story teller. He said that native americans believe that you can't kill a persons soul without stabbing them in the neck so they wore the necklaces to protect their neck. It should be worn as a direct reflection of who you are (such as color chioce, it should kind of speak to you). He also said that each rope was supposed to represent how far along in life you are. I didn't get to ask him how you knew which was the correct one. So I was wondering what everyone else knew about it!

Sorry that was so long!

How many of you who bash particular groups have actually read about their beliefs? If you are against Christians, have you read the Bible? If against Islam, have you read the Quran? If against evolution, have you read the science? etc

I think they all have something to offer. Wouldn't it be great if everybody went out there and started reading before they came here to attack other groups?
