Saint Clare of Assisi. She was born a noblewoman, but heard St. Francis preaching one day and was convinced. Shortly thereafter, she ran away from home (parents literally tried to drag her back) and formed an order of nuns (Order of Poor Ladies, aka Poor Clares). She always remained friends with Francis until they died. If you'd like to read a little more about her, you can go here: http://www.catholic-forum.com/saints/saintc03.htm .
