OK every time there is an argument about creationism vs evolution someone always has to bring up "But Darwin recanted on his death bed proving that evolution is wrong"...Now From history this is a false statement since Darwin's daughter said Darwin never recanted evolution and she was AT THE DEATHBED. So why do people still say Darwin recanted when plain as day he did not?

I mean, ignoring all the slander about 'they don't want to be accountable for their actions' or 'they want to be gods themselves' or 'they have the devil in their hearts'.

If you can really say 'look all around you, how can you deny that this all comes from God?', don't you wonder why other people can't say that?

Does 10 of 12 apostles dieing for Jesus prove Jesus was God? Absolutely not.

There were 21 Middle Eastern Muslim men who boarded 4 planes on September 11, 2001. Wether or not they knew they were all on a suicide mission or not, they found out before the end, and praised their God Allah. Are they martyers?

I just read this story on yahoo, http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060811/ap_on_re_us/no_more_nightcrawlers , & it disgusts me. A 13yr old was selling night crawlers in his yard to passer bys for $2.50dz & made $7-$10 a month he would spend on pizza. The zoning commision said he could no longer do this because it's against zoning laws. What is wrong with these people?

Well... i've always been brought up being a Christian, went to church every sunday, got Christened etc...well lately in my R.E classes we've been focusing on the religion Budhism, and as we have been learning their rules i have started to follow them as i believe that they are true, and now im starting to doubt that there is a God... but i still believe there was a Jesus, and my parents can't accept the fact that i may want to become a Buddhist rather than a Christian... what do i do?

I'm an agnostic here, not trying to convert anyone.

Some say proof of the Judeo-Christian God is in the Bible. That is interesting.

There is this book I just got at Barnes and Noble ISBN number 0812976568 called The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Is this proof of the FLying Spaghetti Monster? It seems to me that some say that God exists and proof is in the Bible. Using this same rational and highly intelligent standard, shouldn't we investigate the possibility of the existence of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, since there is a book that in and of itself the book would be enough proof?

I heard on an instant message 3 nights ago that a friend of mine prayed for a new car in Jesus's name and she got one. She believes Jesus is real, she can feel Jesus's presence.
