i would say yes... due to the terrorist bomings and the influx of immagrants into the uk. i will say that some not all immagrants come here for a better life as i would not blame them if i came from a country like iraq or eastern europe. but we must all ask ourselfs is it that we feel that we as a nation dont welcome people to the uk. we tend to have this barrier that we put up is it because we live on an island or that we have never lost a war. i state that sombody said mr enoch powel was right but you have to disagree with that as in the 50s and 60s the uk asked these people to come to work here as a type of cheep labour and they would do almost any type of job. i think we all have to acept that the uk is a very multicultural society and we just have to get on with life and each other and try to break down the barriers of cultural divide. im sur alot of countrys in europe think the same. so the statement im making is this....IM NOT RACIST BUT IM PROUD OF MY NATIONALITY.

I grew up in a house where doors would open and close by them selfs and every time we would decorate for halloween aour decortations would get moved. There was always this feeling at the back of my neck when it was dark and I was alone....I look back at it now and think it was kinda cool. How about you? What are your stories? Would you go back to the house that they happened in? Do you sometimes think your crazy? Let me know.

Yeah I said Afro-Americans that do have a honest job and went to college and graduated and doing the damn thang! This may not be a question, but I tired of seeing comments about us on Yahoo Answers about how we do not pay taxes or stereotyping us as a people!

Yeah, Yeah, I have heard it before if I don't like it get off, and I know someone is going to report this! I'm not racist I love all people, but I know I got my degrees honestly and I work damn hard for them! Thank you!

Seeing as non religious people are constantly asking the question "if there is a God why does He let all these bad things happen?" and slate Christians for trusting in God I am interested in hearing their thoughts on why they think bad things happen, rather than just slagging off people of a religious background.

So come on athiests... please explain why bad things happen.

I've heard loads of people blame religion for wars, especially Christianity. And granted there have been a few.

Here's my drill: how many "wars" can you name that are religious-based and how many can you name that are not religious-based?? Then, after we sum it all up--can we truly put blame where it belongs?

Just as in the movie Boondock Saints, the main characters took the law into their own hands because they wanted to help rid society of criminals. You can answer on whether it depends on the consequences or without the consequences on your actions.

This is a speech given by a prominent Canadian journalist in 1973, during the Vietnam war, at a similar time when Americans were being put down. I feel it is as valid today as it was when first written.

So before you write your response, take a second and give this a read, or better yet, listen to it - http://www.americanrhetoric.com/speeches/gordonsinclair.htm .

It's the Americans who lead this world - and thank whichever God you pray to for that. No matter what disarray you may perceive in the world today, it is nothing compared to what it would be if America were not involved.

As a Canadian, I consider myself privileged to be in partnership with the US.

Here's my statement of appreciation:
God bless America !!!

You would be required to do such things as shop in an expensive store, go to a job interview, order in a restaurant, and go club hopping. What do you think your experience would be?

People are constantly trying to prove their theories of evolution versus creation and to this point, none have really been able to persuade anybody else because it seems that neither can be 100% accurate. There has been too much time passed since it happened that it is impossible to gather sufficient information to conclude without ANY doubt that one theory is absolutely true and the other is absolutely false. If it turns out in the end that creation is the truth, many people will spend eternity in hell. Likewise, many will spend eternity in heaven. If it turns out that evolution is truth, everyone will simply rot in the ground. Since we can't know, and I mean without any doubt, why risk going to hell? Living a righteous life will only make people feel more comfortable around you because they will know that you aren't apt to cause them harm. The world would simply be a better place. Arguing over who is right and who is wrong will get neither of us anywhere. Try Jesus. I am.

I am a Christian (Catholic) and wanted to hear from other Christians about this. I think everyone will have their own words on this touchy issue. It's sort of like the issue of masturbation, but harder to argue i think.

I don't wish to be offesive and get vulgar comments back to me. I wanted to have a mature and biblical conversation here...sort of impossible though...
In the Bible i have only found passages like..."God left them to treat their bodies in the unnatural way"
what does that mean? i thought it meant homosexuality .Is God saying the only sexual relation husband and wife could have is penis-vagina penetration..and everything else is "perverse and unnatural"?
My belief is that a married couple should be allowed to have this kind if sex if neither man nor wife rejects it or feels degraded by it.
The Bible talks about sodomy as a grave sin..yet "sodomy" by defintion could be oral sex even. but in the Bible i would think it only meant man to man anal sex.

if you do, do you really believe god talks to him? or do you think he's listening to his pocket book?

my opinion, i think he's using religion to mask his real intention. staying on top of the oil game, his pocket book has a big mouth!
