wow, i cant believe im the only one that said this and kows it,
think of Christianity as a country, like the US for exsample, all the states then represent the religions that are in the Christian category/ belief, that eachone believes a tiny bit diferent then the the other. Catholicism is onother smalll religion in side of the christian belief, just like baptist is and others, Christianity is just the border of the/a belief,. a person who is baptist, would be a Baptist Christain. Im a Catholic Christian. so if all christians hated the catholic religion, even though there are people that are still catholics, that would really make me hating myself, so even though i dont, that would make the question false.
catholics are christian.
mabey ur trying to ask, y deferent reliogions like baptist, (just for an example) hate catholics.

Hate is a strong word. I don't think Christians "hate" Catholics. I think it may be more of a dislike towards what some Catholics choose to believe in and their practices.
For instance, some Catholics, not all put forth more effort in worshipping the Holy Mother Mary than they do in Jesus. The Catholic Churchs and Schools have statues of Mary all over the place, both inside and outside their buildings.
Also Catholics are instructed to confess their sins to a priest to atone for their sins. Where as Christians, go to Jesus and Jesus goes to God.
But no matter how each religion operates, we are not supposed to judge other people. The ultimate judge is God Himself. He knows the true hearts and minds of all humankind and only He knows who is for Him and who is against Him.
Good luck and I hope this was helpful!

Yes you are definately right, Catholics are Christians. We believe The Holy Trinity and that includes Christ being our saviour and that he is God. The thing is, ever since the protestant reformation people feel the need to hate us. I am a converted catholic, meaning that majority of my life I was protestant. One of things that drew me to the church is that Catholic means universal, and the Catholic Church was what Christ origionally set forth. Now I am in no way saying that the Catholic church is absolutely 100% correct on all issues, however it is where God called me. People hate catholicism because they don't understand it. They make assumptions based on what other people have told them (the majority anyway, some people actually have real personal reasons). They don't take time to study our doctrine or belief system or why we do the things we do. If they would, they'd find that everthing that we believe in is backed up in the bible. You don't have to agree with every aspect of our doctrine or religion, but that doesn't give someone the right to hate us. We're people too, that means we sin, and that we are not perfect. I believe that no one has it completely right yet even the catholic church, but you don't see me condeming protestants to hell because they aren't with the mother church. Like I said, it is because of ignorance. If they would take the time to learn (with an open heart and mind through God), they would fall in love with it, just as I did.

Hate is a strong word... I do not know one Christian who Hates a Catholic. I think the Catholics are pitied by the Christians and the Catholics tolerate the christians.
It is just more religious bullcrap meant and designed to take even those who believe... and distract them away from the truth and the purpose of their faith. Religion is the problem... Neither one is right or wrong and neither one is any better or worse than any other.
"Everyone want's to corner the market on God. No one wants to know the truth for that would end the wicked pleasure of human competition."
"Dad likes me better than you."
Religion has the mindset and the mentality of children who were always fighting to be loved the most and priased for it.
Atheisim, is like the child who never could participate in mainstream activities of the popular so they took it to the extreme of making a voice for themselves that opposes everything the mainstream once prevented them from participating in. No God on money, no crosses, no christmas, no hannukkah, no memorials in public places, no prayer in schools, blah blah blah. LEAVE THEN! America was built and based on the freedom to chose. If your belief is that delicate that you can't have it alongside everyone elses... Your belief is severly lacking so much more than just God. WHy should it be my problem if your belief is in the form of an anti-everything so as to make everything dissappear?

Hate Catholics? I'm a former Catholic...born, baptized and raised Catholic. I don't hate Catholics...and I'm a Christian!
I thought I was a Christian when I was a Catholic, but became born-again outside of the Church. I just disagree with some of the theology that was taught by the Church (Mariology, intersession of the saints, etc.) I also know why I disagree with the Church.
That isn't hatred...

Most non-Catholic Christians believe that you must accept Jesus as your personal Lord and saviour to go to heaven, unfortunately the Catholic Church does not subscribe to this theology. Also the Catholic Church has a long history of greed. In the Middle Ages the Church accepted money as a means of forgiving sin. So every time I sin I would have to pay money to be forgiven? That doesn't sound like Christianity to me. This problem also exists between Christianity and the supposedly Christian Mormons. They are not Christian as they believe that all men, emphasis on men, can become gods if they live a good enough life. Another big problem that cannot be overcome to place them in the same religious sect.

Catholics ARE Christians, although many Christians do think otherwise. My husband is Catholic and I had to convince many of my Christians friends that he is Christian. They believe the same core belief as any other Christian, that Jesus is God and came down in human form to save us from our sins. Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to investigate Catholicism more before they judge.
Why CAN'T we all just get along?

Because Catholics are more political than biblical for example the bible says nothing about eating fish on friday the church made that rule to help the fishing companiys out and....in matthew it says no man should be called father because you have on father in heaven and a preast is called father and there are many other reasons on top of the prests that molested children but I don't think HATE is the proper word for it

Christians are not to hate, but to love. To love the Lord God and our neighbors as ourselves is the greatest command. True Christians (those born of water) do not agree with the Catholic faith due to:
Creed books, priests, nuns, instrumental music, worshipping the pope or any other human, worshipping Mary, baptizing babies, etc... Jesus is our mediator, not Mary or the priest or pope..Those are not found in the Bible. Indeed, if the Bible is the perfect law of liberty, then why use a creed book? Why keep adding to or taking away from God's Word? Because they wanted things done their own way, so they adopted their own traditions and sanctions. So many of their practices are anything but Biblical. Todays Christians are to use the New Testament. In order to be a true Christian, one born of water, you must follow the steps to salvation: Steps of Salvation
Hear - Rom 10:17
Believe - Heb 11:6
Repent - Acts 2:38
Confession - Matt 10:32-33
Baptism - Mark 16:16
Live faithfully - Revelation 2:10; Romans 5:1-2
Failure to do so, is not being in the Lord's church. You're not a Christian unless you're in the Lord's church. You're not in the Lord's church unless you've been baptized(and baptism is immersion-not sprinkling or pouring). And also, where in God's Word can you find the Catholic, Methodist, Baptist, Jehovah's witnesses church? There is only one church, Christ's church. And he said to Peter "Upon this rock I will build MY church".. I see nothing of any other church but Christ's there... Mankind grew tired of following what God had instructed and devised their own traditions and such. In doing so they either added to or took away from God's Word, which then in turn may have took their name out of the Lamb's Book of Life... But I've found to be true time and time again throughout my life looking and study the Catholic faith---- Hyprocrosy, plain and simple... And downright blasphemy in some instances...

That is why I am agnostic. It is not that I don't believe in god. I don't believe in religion. Over 90% of the wars ever fought in the world were based on religion. They others were based on money. Religion is a man made organization, no where in the any religious text does it say you must be Catholic, Protestant, Hindu, etc... All religious texts outline how we should interact with each other while living on the earth so we can reach a higher plane.
