Yes it is on the increase, and yes i agree with what you say....but surely there must be effort on both sides of the debate not just the English nationals who are paying to set up the homes that immigrants get.
I'm not racist (some of my family are black) but i do feel that sometimes the hard working Britons (of whatever colour) should be shown some gratitude for allowing non-nationals to live here - often at our expense.
Enoch powell was right in some respects....one of his points was that for every person you let in today, their 2 children and 4 grandchildren will be here tomorrow - a valid point. Not a problem if the right people are let in....
I also feel that immigrants should embrace our culture instead of trying to hang on to there own....they left their country to come here but sometimes it feels like they are imposing their systems onto us.
To reduce this increase in racism the UK government needs to crack down very hard on any immigrants that break the law or who don't "play the game" and embrace the UK as their new home.
By doing this the majority of newcomers to UK will be shown in their true light as honest, hardworking people just looking for a better life and not judged by the actions for the minority.

Yes and I can understand why.
Its things like when you walk round your local Tesco and you can't understand what anybody else is talking about.
When you look out your window and all you see are Caribbean, African, Turkish, Asian, and Eastern Europeans going passed.
When you finally get an appointment to sit in a doctors waiting room and your the only white person in there.
When your family can't get social housing.
When you can't get a job.
When you want a hospital appointment.
After all this ranting I will add I am not racist(believe it or not) but I can understand why most people are.
The thing that worries me most, being white English, is the way that all these other nationalities try to force their cultures and religions on to you and do not accept ours (the host nation).

Bigotry isn't only increasing in Britain. On the east coast of Spain there is an increasing risk of being mugged and or killed if you're British, as some of the locals feel as if we are taking advantage of there weak economy (cheap land and goods) in towns where so called ex-patriots now outnumber the Spanish.
Even in America, the land of the free, their own president can't seem to distinguish between a religion and a terrorist movement.

Sadly yes.
Although it's great to have such a variety of cultures.
I have to say its a shame that there are some people who come over without ever intending to make efforts to join our society.
I work in a multi-ethnic school with over 70 different nationalities represented. A lot of the parents do not want their children mixing outside school, the only good thing is that white families seem to be no more guilty of this than any others.
Its important to remember that white peole are not the only ones who can be racist.

The funny thing is that the British people are nothing but immigrants from the Celts to the Romans to the Agles and Jutes to the Saxons, the Vikings, the Normans, hugenots, the forced influx of the slave trade, people from countries that we colonised and plundered. The only originals are the welsh and some West Country people. When do you want to start the repatriation from? Neolithic times?

it probably is but what never seems to get counted because it's so not pc is the rising racism amongst the ethnics themselves, blacks v asians and so on. This is where the biggest rise has been. Also, I notice that a mugging by a white is nearly always reported as racially motivated, if its the other way round ,e.g. asian against white or asian against black it stays just a mugging offence.

Think everyone has jumped on the bandwagon!! Everything is watching your p's and q's...and it's like treading on egg shells...the fun has gone out of it...I mean....peeps even report to police if a person of a different colour has looked at them in the wrong way!!
Because it's such a hot topic......everyone is aware of what racism is....and I think the minority are taking advantage of the situation...I mean...if a cop stops a minority for speeding..its'''"you only stopped me cause I'm Asian".....and they can't seem to grasp its because they've broken the law.......this tiles me!!!!!!
Why doesn't everyone chill......and stop looking at the negativity's!!!
How can I be an immigrant if I am a Celt?????

Yes, and I do not look for it to get better! I believe that we are on our way to a third world war because it appears to me that the whole world hates each other and the friction of the nations is growing!
