I am not particularly religious though I belong to a "movement"...As a Unitarian Universalist I find the Spiritual Freedom to believe as I choose without rules, limitations, or regulations per se. It's a wounderful feeling to be accepted by a group of folks consisting of Deists, Atheists, Agnostics, Heretics, and others that have come together in MUTUAL RESPECT with a goal of understanding. Well, if you are curious you ask them about what they think will happen to them after they die.
That usually defines the person for that category.
If they say, " I don't think about it and don't want to know/ talk about it, etc. " That person is hiding from the debate, maybe for good reasons, but they are hiding. They have already made a choice.

I don't categorize people. I get to know them and then decide if they are independently spiritual or a person mired down in their own logical thought processes. And then of course there are other definitions for different people. EACH PERSON IS DIFFERENT.

We're all too obsessed with labels. I understand it because I like to do it myself.
To answer your question, I'd have to know more about the person. Do they believe in god but not any organized religion, do they not believe, etc.

Why judge anyone? Free thinkers and New Agers are generally speaking..non-joiners.

dont judge people , if you dont wanna be judged.
it's like dont judge the book from it's cover..
anyway...you & me , we are all the same human beign..
same creation from God...
only different neighbour,school, hobby, color,...etc etc
but met here in the same Y! answer right!
that's why don't judge people that fast okey ...
even for Osama, Blair, Bush... they are all only human
