Open the door, pull out her chair, carry that box for her, cook her a meal, tell her what you think about her new hair/dress/makeup. I know these things sound small and petty, but when it comes to women, nothing is too small to go unnoticed. Oh, and don't bother doing these things if she doesn't do them (or at least try) for you too ^_^

Treat her great! Compliment her. Do not brag...especially about belongings (it indicates that you think she's shallow enough to love you for belongings). Don't do anything more than a short kiss on the first date. Call her the next day and set up another date in a couple of days (this confirms that you aren't clingy and that you are confident and it gives her time to just about go crazy with excitement). Don't play games. Have confidence without being cocky. Make her feel secure. Do not say other girls are hot. Do not compare her to other girls. Do not be clingy or obsessed acting. Be funny and sweet, but manly.

It depends. If the woman is young and immature than all they want is material stuff. Women, like me, in their 30's are impressed by manners, politeness, a great sense of humour and honesty.
I never realized how much manners impress me until I moved from Canada to the USA. No one here has manners. They would run over you in their car rather than stop or slow down to let a pedestrian pass by first.

I have been polite and respectful to women all my life... and what does that get me? not too much. If you have ever read anything by David D'Angelo, you will realize that women react better to nastiness... not blatant ignorant acts, but a kind of ambivalence that most men don't show. So, if you ask how I impress women, well... I try not to react at all. I impress them by not impressing them. Sounds stupid? I know alot of women will want to argue with me, but it is true. you will get a better reaction to an arrogant attitude than you will to a polite/respectful one. Try it.

be a gentleman...this goes a long way with a woman who is passed wanting to exert her independence. So, if the girl is in her early 20's, a nice car and a decent job helps. Any older and we are hoping to have doors opened for us...etc.

By being kind, friendly (but not too friendly) and showing them respect. Showing off is a huge turn off in most women, so just be yourself. She'll like you if she does...if she doesn't, it wasn't meant to be.

Being a total asshole with the critical trait of being funny. If you're not funny, then it doesn't work.
