Beatniks never went out of style to my way of thinking. Young people still read 'On the Road' when they are in college as much as ever. Coffee houses are back in style. Cool is making a comeback but I was cool throughout the current trend of people wanting to be HOT HOT HOT.
Make sure you do it right. Read William Burroughs books. Watch Fellini movies. And find a coffee house and hang around for the poetry reading.

hope not man,but say what you like,maybe take up martial arts first though,and theres nothing wrong with stripey jumpers,never been out of fashion in our house!!

You never know, with the way fashions are now, ANYTHING could come back in style.
I mean, that style where you wear the sweater over your shoulder with the arms tied in front of you is even starting to come back in. lol
