You know, my life is too easy, and despite my basic instinct to be attracted to the opposite sex, I think I'll perform homosexual acts because I want to be persecuted by the religious right.

People, I'm begging you to persuade me with well thought out, logical arguments to convince me that it's a choice. Any answer that does that is certainly the best answer.

Why is it that the only thing we hear about God comes from people speaking on his behalf, namely cult leaders, religious preachers and followers, most of whom are lunatics and war mongers. If God genuinely existed, he would silence these people because they are an absolute embarrassment. Just check out some of the religious idiots who post on Yahoo Answers.

When you listen to these idiots trying to justify God’s love and existence, it takes very little commonsense to realise how imaginary God is. If God were real, he would speak for himself. The fact that God does not speak, and that he allows any lunatic who comes along to speak in his name, proves that God is imaginary.

If all you religious people who try to mentally saturation bomb gullible minds could see how stupid and embarrassing you are to the intellectual mind, perhaps you’d stop making fools of yourselves.

My question is this....Why do you preach that all women who opt to have an abortion should instead give the baby up for adoption? You state over and over and over that there are women and couples out there that can't have kids but there are just as many children currently in the system who have not been adopted. Why?

I don't see how repeatedly bringing up the adoption issue makes a valid argument.

Really why do you care what religon I am?

Does it really affect your everyday life? Does me praying to God affect your pay check or your amount of time you get sleeping?

I DONT care if you worship flowers or what ever! So why do you care what I follow and worship.

Why dont you worry about your life. You say Christian people always try to change non-belivers and dont accept you if you dont belive...STOP sterotypes...if you want to belive those then what about 90% of murders and rapist are athesist.....so if your athesist you must be a murder or child molestor

I heard or read recently of a lingustic discovery: a language (perhaps in Central or South America, possibly with ancient roots) in which, instead of looking forward at the future, the speakers look backward at the future. And instead of looking back at the past, they look forward at the past. There was actually an explanation for this that made some sense. Don't remember the explanation and wish to know more about it.

How empty an Athiest or a believer in Evolution must feel inside. Sitting here trying to imagine where could you possibly draw a feeling of self worth. What is your meaning or purpose in life without your creater. When you take the creater out of the equation of life, whats left is accidental existance. Then mankind is left as being no more superior in existance than any other accidental creature. This means we as human being SO CALLED DECENDANTS of apes are no more greater than the avarage monkey caged at the zoo. So to validate our superiority and esteem ourselve, we seek degrees, and money to fill the void in our life. Looking to man and his devices for the purpose in life never finding the answer because it's SPIRITUAL. Man created the idea of evolution because mankind didn't want to be govern by the athourity of God. So they had to elimante Him in society.

My best friend is more like a sister to me. We have many experiences in common and have so much in common together spiritually too. We only met about 4 years ago and I have never been closer to a friend in my life, there is absolutely NO judgment, just unconditional friendship and support when needed. I am godmother to her youngest child and her Daughter is my named next of kin. I have met some wonderful people who resonate on the same frequency as me and the more I get to know them, the more I feel like we were all pre-destined to hook up with each other when we were ready They are a family that I have chosen in the absence of my own blood family. Do you have a separate spiritual family too ? Have you met anyone through YA R&S that you think of as family ?

Last night I was shopping with a friend of mine for decorations for one of her friends birthday. This friend has her children every other week. Her daughter's birthday was yesterday. She spent over $30 on the decorations for her friend then said she didn't have enough money to do anything for her daughter. Her baby girl turned 8 so she still is a baby. She tried to justify this by saying "I've done something for her birthday every year. I think her Daddy should take care of this one!" I started to say something but held it back because I was so mad. Please tell me what you would have said to her. I am still steaming about this.
