Jesus was placed on this Earth to spread the word of his Father, and mankind failed God miserably! Jesus begged his Father's forgiveness for us, giving his own life to save us all! But why do people call Jesus God?

"No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us."_1 John 4:12
Many people saw Jesus so he cannot be God. In the Bible wherever you see the word lord in all capital letters (LORD) it is referring to Almighty God. Whenever you see lord with only the the first letter in capitals, this is referring to Jesus.(Lord) This shows they are two separate entities, one the Father and the other, his Son.
In the book of John Chapter 1 verse one---in the original greek language, it should read this way: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was a god."
Jesus is indeed a god, but he is not Almighty God and never claimed to be. The King James translators omitted the "a" before the word "God" to try to justify the false trinity doctrine.
Sadly, some have been worshipping a triune of gods instead of the one true God. There are too many Scriptures that prove that Jesus and his Father are not the same.
Our Creator wants his worshippers to know him, not be in total confusion about who he is. The trinity doctrine is a mystery and leaves people in the dark. Many cannot even begin to explain it.
God would never make himself a mystery to his creation.

The term "Lord" is merely a title, just as Mr., Mrs., Ms., King, Duke etc. are. If you look into a Bible, and see the term "Lord", check out how the word is written in letter form. Example, go to Psalms 110:1 and look at the two variations of "Lord". One is in capital letters "LORD" and the other is "Lord". Anytime you see the capital LORD that represents the place where God's personal name should be. Jehovah is used 7000 times in the Bible, but sadly, because of a Jewish superstition, that name has been replaced with LORD. A small case lettering of Lord is where Jesus' name should be. That's why Jesus is referred to as a lord, just as other dignified individuals are also referred to as Lord. Another thing, Jesus is not God. He is God's son. He, himself, when asked, said he was God's son. "The father is greater than I am." "I have come to do my father's will, not my own." God cannot die, Jesus did. Also, his father, Jehovah, is the one who resurrected him back to life. He could not have done that on his own, being dead.

You sound like you are laboring under the indoctrination of the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Jesus is Lord because He is the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, True God from True God, not made but One in Being with the Father...

The Gospel of St. John explains the Son's oneness with the Father. If you have been brainwashed to not believe this, then no explanation can help you until you decide to open your eyes and look for the Truth for yourself.

That's just another one of those mysteries from that book of fables and fairy tales.

If Jesus was God's son, then did he exist in Heaven before he assumed human form on Earth?

If so, who was Jesus's mother in Heaven? Was God married at one time? Why would God need a son, anyway?

And, lastly, what are they both doing right at this very moment? Sitting around and watching everybody bomb everybody else? Writing every little sin by billions of people in a huge book?

From what I've learned, Jesus is called God's son, but he is really a part of God in a human form. Therefore, the father, son and holy spirit are all one. Isn't that amazing?!

Because if a monkey has a son it would have to be monkey...so if (for the sake of arguement) God has a Son then His Son would have His qualities and divinities. And thats why Jesus's death is valid anyway because He is God and God can't sin so Jesus is the only One Worthy to pay the price. So Jesus took on human flesh to die because God cant die...so He became human. If you still don't get it, you can message me anytime.

Theres a verse in the bible where the Apostles ask "Lord, can we see God?" and Jesus replys with words to the effect if you have seen me, you have seen the father and the father and I are one. This didn't go over too well with the Jewish Leaders at the time- in fact, they wanted to kill him by stoneing for blasphemy. Of course Jesus could read their minds ("Knew their thoughts") and escaped- he did this many times
