What is truth? Can anyone tell me what truth actually is? And, if you can, who holds the truth?

Pretty deep question there! What is truth, do we really know what truth is or where it began? Man brought about morality and laws, but then at the same time Man is always changing their morals in this world and the laws are forever changing. So truth you ask, I guess truth is whatever you feel to be moral right in your mind. The mind is the only place that we can reason and think on a cognitive level. People say truth is found in ones heart, but that can't be true because our hearts miss-lead us every day. Truth is our cognitive minds at work exploring every thought we have ever had. No one holds the truth, to be honest i don't even think God knows the absolute truth. He gave us the ten commandments but did not instruct us on how to evolve with the commandments as years went by. SO NO ONE KNOWS TRUTH and if someone says they do then it is there own moral thoughts which there are millions of people thinking that their truth is the correct truth. So there is just ignorance and not TRUTH!

Truth is the stated reflection of reality.
Only YOU can hold truth - the truth for you will be different than for me. Reality is experienced purely subjectively. Looking for 'truth' outside yourself will never conjur what you want to find by seeking it.

let me say right now that i am a christian. i believe that the bible is truth. this is a broad question and it makes it difficult to answer. i will just add that there can only be one truth. everyone on earth can't have their own "truth". what we do is either right or wrong, true or false. i don't know if that helps you any. sorry.

The truth is an onion, every layer you pull back you get closer to the emptyness at the center. I hold it, and so do alot of others, in the same place no less, our stomachs.

Perception is truth.
Each person's individual perception is their own form of the truth. And it IS the truth, for each one of us.

the truth is in your gut its inside you there is a god he /she /it is in everything we are and touch ,see and fill .
we hold the truth in side ower selfs we ask questions and serch so that we are not alone no one is alone we are all conected like a web from one another we all know right from wrong serch your self it the first gut filling that you get the worning inside

Truth is many things, but I think by favorite is the Life Preserver, and obviously I think Jesus holds the truth. We can understand a part of it by studying the Bible.
