I am having an issue... and I want to make a decision. I want to know if I should join the Catholic church. I have been studying it for a while now, and then I am sure I want to convert. I am sure it is the right church, but then the next day I am not so sure because my somewhat anti-catholic family always brings me something that is "evidence" of why the church is not true. Then I do some more research and find that they are all wrong about what they tell me. And the cycle starts again.
I want to convert without having any doubts, because I don't want to make a mistake. Please give me a ligitimate reason why I should or shouldn't join the Catholic church.
Please none of this, "first church established by jesus through peter the rock" for the good stuff, and "call no man father", "praying to the saints and worshipping mary" bad stuff. Heard it before.
