I think what he said was his opinion and if thats how he feels then who am i to judge? It's his own opinion and since when do i give a good damn what Mel gibson thinks anyways?!?

i seriously think the "jewish leaders and community" need to get off mel gibson's back, i heard they are trippin of that passion of the christ movie he made. My question is this: if they knew what they fuq it was gonna be about WHY DID THEY GO SEE IT?

Religions are fine and whatever but some religious folk are just a little slow, myself included even though i didn't see the movie (i saw the previews for the movie and was seriously uninterested)

Mel Gibson made boocoos of money off that film. If the jewish community dislikes it so much, tell them to make their OWN movie and do it like they wanna do it.

Don'tcha just hate it when some people act stupid and like they had a fuqqin gun held to their head AND THEN after doing something they chose to act sour like that.

Americans have too much damn time on our hands.

ok, i vented, thanks for the opportunity even though im way off topic

He was drunk. He may or may not be a bigot, but what he said when drunk probably has nothing to do with his actual attitude.

That doesn't make what he said acceptable; but if he works directly with Jewish interest groups to try to make amends, what are we supposed to do? Anything at all? Will it be any of our business if he makes peace with people of the Jewish faith?

God would tell us to love him and forgive him. Now watch how many "religious" people don't. This episode will be a good indicator of how many hypocrites there are in this country.

I hope people got a look at Dr. Phil on Leno last night. He gave a very reasoned response to the incident, which went to this effect: "He (Gibson) was drunk and said some bigoted things. But if he makes a sincere effort to atone with the Jewish community, what more can we ask?"

I was paraphrasing, of course. Sorry if I misrepresented your intent, Dr. Phil. And thanks for being at least one person in this country who did not compromise his beliefs over Gibson's regrettable action.

I think Gibson was red-handed drunk behind the wheel and got busted--no contest there. I also think he aloud spoke an anti-Semitic remark he heard and was himself pondering on (people who are drunk tend to do this); doesn't mean he himself BELIEVES the remark he heard or was aloud thinking about.

It's bad enough he's a celeb, but I find it even more so shameful the press and public--especially the Jewish community--are so dam quick to condemn the man. And the outraged Jewish reactions I've read have me wondering if there's a degree of merit to anti-Semitic remarks. I mean: aren't TRUE Jews about forgiveness and compassion??? I'm not seeing it so far.

People worldwide ought to get a life and let this whole matter go.
