BE CONFIDENT

Be Confident
In Your Personality
In Your Inuitions
In Your Beliefs
In Your Talents
In Your Conscious

Then Take That And

Be Confident
By Yourself
Amongst Strangers
With Friends
At Work
In Public
With Family
In Your Relationship

If You Are Contently Confident Within Yourself About Yourself

People Sense It
Through Your Composure
When You Speak
When You're Silent
Body Language

Think About When You Are Watching Someone Give A Speech
If They Are Not Confident Within Themselves About Themselves
These Are The People You Don't Even Start Listening To Because You Were Able To Sense Their Nervousness And Insecurity

When I am Listening To A Speaker I Want Them To Be Good I Want Them To Move Me I Want Them To Capture My Attention These Are The People That Have That Content Confidence You Immediately Tune Into What They Are Communicating Because You Sense Their Confidence And You Want In On Part Of It

People Like Individuals That Present Themselves Well

So Next Time You Are In A Situation Where You Might Be Timid Or Intimidated Or Whatever

Just Be Confident

Why Not Let It Be You

That's What I Think When I Am Speaking In Front Of A Crowd (or a stranger or a co-worker or a girl etc .. )

All These People Want Me To Do Well - Just As If I Was Watching Myself In The Audience

They Don't Want To Be Bored

Why Not Let It Be Me That Moves These People

Why Not Let It Be Me That Kicks Some ***

Why Not Let It Be Me That People Will Remember

Why Not Let It Be Me That Inspires People To Think

Know What I'm Sayin
Why Not Let It Be You

If you have a speech, make sure you use words that are easier for you to pronounce. Some have more of a flow to them. Check it out with a speech therapist. When you are stammering, make note of the words that cause you the problem. Think about the words, you are saying, not about the word that comes next.
Some books out there may help. Go to chapters, take some recipe cards 5x7. Take notes that appeal to you from several books that will self help you. Sometimes you may get only one important piece of advice from one book, but it may be a critical, useful piece of information.

Look at speech as a goal, don't look at stammering as a problem. Be positive, get parents, friends to help in small ways.

There are organization that teach public speaking, suggest that you try to locate such organizations and get some experience, or stand in front of a mirror and practice practice what you want to present... I hope this helps... Good Luck..

Do not focus on the front row, keep your eyes moving throughout the audience, if you are allowed to do so then walk about the stage as you speak, and pray for guidance before you speak. Works for me.

focus, focus, focus!Make sure you know what you are talking about, think before talking and don't try to fake it by making things up as you go.Also it is a good idea to be concise,to the point and don't speak with the point of hearing yourself talk.

Talk to a mental health professional. Perhaps you have social phobia. This is not uncommon, and treatable.
