at a time when you are financially secure with a guarranteed sustainable income and hopefully in good to reasonable health there is,i believe, no set age

It's wise for us all to plan way ahead for our retirement so to have the best options possible when we reach that time of working life.

It really comes down to realisitic choices--and each are unique as we being people are.

If your retirement salary is enough, but not quite, to go on and do something else you really enjoy doing----then I'd go for that if I had such an option. We all deserve a job we truly love and have fun doing.

The real trick is retiring while we are still healthy to enjoy life while keeping above water. A dear friend of mine died his FIRST DAY of his retirement from a 30 year career.

Make ur fortune as early as possible. Try to retire before u get to know what oldage inability is. Let youngsters to come up by moving away.

Officially from work say sixty. In reality man never retires. He keeps doing something or the other to keep busy and amuse oneself productive or otherwise. Learning process(even reproductive procees!) never ends for man.
