Would you consider someone that sees murders, rapes, and torture and has the ability to stop it but doesn't to be a sadist?

Sadist: The deriving of pleasure, or the tendency to derive pleasure, from cruelty.

God must be enjoying it or it wouldn't allow it. Free will is not an excuse because god could wait until the murderer decides to murder someone but stop him before he actually does it.

My coming out was very positive. Both my family and friends reacted calm and openminded. I suppose that it's less of an issue where I live, but I imagine it's more difficult in conservative countries/cultures/classes. How was yours?

My three year old brother saw a "green thing". I was under a blanket and i was ready to jump out and scare him. before i could, he ran upstairs screaming. he was too young to lie and he was crying and sobbing so much he couldnt talk. i didnt know what was wrong so i ran upstairs not looking towards the direction he was looking at before. he told us what it looked like and to this day, he is six now, he hasnt changed his story. this is another reason i believe him. we checked online and we found some things that supported his story. we deffinately believe now. what we dont know is why it was there. no one has played with a wigi bord in my house and the house is only 5 years old. between the time my brother was three until he was six, some wierd things have happend.
Appearance:oval shape, green, smoke coming from head, tall as grown man, was behind the couch.
weird things:brush moving without being touched, cold air with no AC or windows open, scratching in the walls at 9 every night.

What I don't get is this, why do people find it hard to believe in a concept of evolution. Why do they not wanna hear about it or bash it by saying I didn't evolve from no monkey. Yet they believe in an entety that is never heard or seen? Is it easier to believe in an entety that is not there than a concept that holds more facts?

will it be thought of in a thousand years as a new bible, seriously think about it,if i sat down and put all my "predictions" down on paper, and used names in the book as others did, will i be considered the word of god to the people that find it,honestly think about it thats what the bible is right?years after jesus passed is when it was written, correct?theguys who wrote it are considered "prophets" right?well if i declare myself a prophet as they did, which they did,it was proven they were guessing at best, half the things they said would happen, have never occured when they said it would, not being a jerk here,im really serious, wouldnt it be the same as none of us were alive then to prove these guys werent crazy fools, with strange ideas, maybe im wrong just asking

I always believed islam is about the total submission of one's will to Allah. If there is a need to fight (defensively), we are obligated to fight.

I know this is going to 'draw some fire' from some respondents, but I have to ask it. And, I saw where a very similar question was asked recently by someone else, but I would appreciate one of two words somewhere in your response; either 'lazy' or ignorant'. Please.

Why is the English language so irrelevant with so many supposed English speaking people now? Lord knows I am not perfect, and I am not an English teacher, but when it comes to using the English language now days, it's atrocious.

From poor spelling, to improper use of words, bad grammar, terrible sentence structure, it goes on and on. Has someone come through in the dark of night and stolen all of our dictionaries?

Some of the questions asked on this blog are so poorly written it causes me to wonder what the person asking the question was doing when they spent the ten - fifteen seconds to blurt out the few words they did. And I am not talking about 'foreigners' in the process of learning the language. Have at me!

I keep seeing in the media and history books that a good amount of people don't like Jewish people. Can anyone tell me why or where it stems from? I've never met a Jewish person who wasn't nice and respectful, so I'm a little confused.

I prefer to dislike individuals based on their attitudes and lack of respect rather than their religion or race.
Oh, and do people still think that Jewish people killed Jesus? (That would be crazy since nowhere is it proven or even suggested that I've seen.)

dont you think governments should spend most of their money on educating the younger generation? most children in the 3rd world dont go to school, due to lack of resources, religion and culture. dont you think its time to change that and make sure that kids get an education?

One friends of mine told me that democrasy is not good: if the most of the people vote for something that is not true, the truth remain the same even if only a few people believe in it.
Or should I accept as truth what the majority think and do?
In fact, almost everyone do not want to be different; so, if some leaders say that day is night and night is day, many others will believe because they are afraid of being different.
So, one lie told too many times from many people became truth. Should I search for the utmost truth or should I try not to be different?

This question assumes that God exists.

If everybody is a sinner and God made the Law, with morals and values, that means two options:

either God made morals that are too high to follow for all humans
or God made all humans with too low morals

It's nice that i can be saved when i squeeze Jesus into my heart, but the simple fact is that Jesus will then be a patch for the error that God made in his creation, or Jesus will be a patch for His Fathers sadistic Laws.
