Mine would be temperance as I tend to lose my temper far too often online LOL.

Is "all of them" an answer? I think I need the most help in meekness (I talk too much) and temperance (I get mad too often, and often overindulge in things I shouldn't).
As a country, I think we need a healthy dose of brotherly love.
Great questions! They're giving me a lot to think about.

Temperance has more to do with holding oneself in moderation than it does with control of temper - which should be held in moderation as well - but what makes these Captial Virtues as opposed to the gifts of the Spirit or the fruits of the Spirit?

These are all attributes of Christianity that one should ask, seek and submit their lives to Christ for their fulfillment.

The fruit of the Spirit are those things which will be outward indicators of the fact that we have given our lives to Christ: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.

The Gifts of the Spirits are the various duties one maybe called into service for: administration, judges, doctors, encouragers or counselors, pastors, those with wonder-working faith, those who lead, teach, learn foreign languages to evangelize in foreign lands, helpers, deacons, ministers, organizers - the various talents that a person may hold are the gifts we we are given to serve God through. And with each gift we are given in our life, the fruits of the Spirit should shine through as products of relying on God to use the gifts he has given us.

Humility, diligence are characteristics of what any person should be - liberality is a gift, brotherly love is a command from Jesus, chastity is a withholding of ourselves sexually until marriage - so as they all may be virtuous in their own way - they have no more virture than than the fruits or gifts of the Holy Spirit.

I've never heard of "Capital" Virtues, but of your list I would say diligence. I have the best of intentions, but sometimes things fizzle way too soon. I feel like if I were more diligent, I would accomplish more.

Temperance and diligence--it is too easy to let in despair. I also desire to hone my works of the Holy Spirit!

I do not feel a need to WORK on virtues. As one yields themselves to the Lord, He molds us. It is written he is the potter and we are the clay. All we have to do is love God and be a willing vessel.
