I always believed islam is about the total submission of one's will to Allah. If there is a need to fight (defensively), we are obligated to fight.

Perhaps... but take a look at it's followers and I don't see peace and happiness all across the board. High %'s of Muslims in foreign countries tend to be very violent and non-approving of other cultures and religions... not to mention how they tend to violentally take over those countries and impose Islam as the only religion for that country. Sure, there are peaceful Muslims... and it may still even be the majority. But there are too many extremists.

Yes Islam is all about peace and love and those who think otherwise should have a look into their own collar. There is a media war going around in the world and every one wants to deny the other and prove the other party wrong. It should not happen. God made us all equal this is our own choice to be a muslim or christian or whatever you may be but remember the Religion of God is LOVE and MERCY

The word Islam comes from the Arabic word Salam,which means peace...however the only Islam we ever hear about is the crazy people we see on CNN that abuse their religion for political purposes...its a shame no one takes the time to learn about things in life
