You're obviously lying and/or joking. On the off chance that you feel worthless after simply having one conversation with an atheist, then you were pretty much worthless when you believed in God.
I havbe never heard of a person so weak that they would give up their belief after one conversation. Why didn't you just put a smiley face after your question, because this has to be a gag.

An atheist bases their life on the belief that God does not exist. However, that is a belief and not logic. Use your head, not someone else's to explain how the world works. Do your own investigation. Read the bible - or better yet talk to an elderly person who's been there.
If you really think your life is worthless, look around the world at all the other people whose lives are a lot worse. People in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Palestine, the Congo- all of these people being shot at and killed everyday simply because of their beliefs and ethnicity. In Indonesia, they are dealing with an almost unstopping assault of volcanoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis. All over the world there are children and whole families who go hungry, have no homes, and when they die no one remembers who they are if they ever cared to know them.
Your life is not worthless. You can change your life and a lot of others if you put your mind to it. Don't ever let someone else tell you how to live.

If you are really feeling that bad about it then just believe in god again. But, I'm an atheist and don't consider my life worthless. Try to make a difference in the world and your life can be used to help others...that's not worthless.

Yeah, I think this is a BS answer trying to make atheists look bad. Personally, I agree with the above poster who said that your life has more meaning now. I find that I enjoy my life more, and feel like it has much more meaning than it did when I did believe.
No decent atheist would say your life is worthless. That's your own opinion. You are worthless without praising god and living your life for the glory of him? Why not try living your life for yourself.

The first thing you should do is take a deep breath and fill your lungs with the air that God created. Then look around you and see the beautiful earth that God created. Look up and see the beautiful blue sky that God created and the clouds that God created. Then at night look at all the stars that God created and hear all the animals that God created. Then if you still think there is no God you will just have to suffer the consequences when Jesus comes back and you are left behind.
Who will you trust God or man.

if someone said your life is worthless whether that was an atheist or not . they are talking rubbish
its OK that people can choose to believe in a god or not , but to suggest that a life is worthless is for no one to say
your life is so very important and no one should tell you otherwise

I still believe even in God even though I am so angry right now (at my dad) Sometimes I feel as if there was really no reason for me to be here. You should go to a museum and find out how the universe really works now you have the capacity to do so whit out being blinded by god and restricted by what you can believe. Your life isn't worthless it's worth now than before as now you can be something it's up to you not an imaginary being. Once you get going you will find atheism is infinitely better than theism. Say No To jesus.

On the contrary - The fact that there are no gods, and no afterlife, means that your life couldn't *be* more meaningful, because it's the only life you will ever have. The meaning is in living it.
bjo53w: Matter does indeed spontaneously create itself out of nothing, as postulated by quantum mechanics and supported by experimental evidence in the Casimir Effect. Look it up.

I am a christian but I believe in what the atheist told you.
IF you believe that there is no God, your life is indeed worthless!
