I'm trying to reconcile the idea of the biblical God being a God who loves Humanity, and a few verses in the bible.

Consider the following:
In Genesis we have the story of Adam and Eve eating from the forbidden tree. God, in His infinite wisdom and power, decides to curse every Human with death and disease and the inheritance of the original sin (thus we are all born sinners).

Now consider that not one Human has a choice about being born, and not one Human alive had anything to do with the decisions of Adam and Eve.

If God wanted, God could have wiped out Adam and Eve and started over with two new Humans, avoiding the need to curse all of Humanity with death, disease, and original sin (and spared Jesus the cross), I wonder why he decided to bring all this misery into the world when it was in His power to start over.

So how does cursing every Human since Adam and Eve with death, disease, and original sin demonstrate God's love for Humanity?

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. Come on you Bible bashers, show me once verse in the Quran which degrades woman similiar to those seen in the Bible or commands you to rape, and take woman and little girls as sex slaves?

God must be one hunky stud with washboard abs, a large unit, and perfect hair. It says right in the Bible that God created man in his own image, and I am the perfect man. Do the films of the christian ministers blessing the troops before they went in to do the killing make you want to shout praises to Jesus?

I think we should stop all responses to blasphemous questions altogether. There are so many people that ridicule God, Jesus and the Church. They are clearly from their father-the devil. I think we should only ask and respond to questions that have serious questions and delete those that don't. I am tired of throwing my pearls to swine. They want to live a life in riducule to God, let them. And let them recieve the justice they invoke on themselves. Let's promise no longer to answer their blasphemous questions and let God deal with them. God bless all the wonderful Christians who earnestly have answered so many questions.

I mean you believe in one flavor of magic pixie, but you make sure that your children are taught the truth about Santa Claus. Isn't that kind of hypocritical?
You also talk about "spirits" and other such superstitious nonsense. What childish ideas you all have.
The fact is, there is NO god. Not one person in the history of history, has been able to provide ONE shred of evidence to support the existence of this sky-pixie. Not one.
The next person do do so will be the first.
(and for your information, no, quoting an outdated and irrelevant book of bronze-age jewish mythology or puerile platitudes do NOT count as proof. Just so you know...)
