I'm not Christian anymore, but for most of my life I was. I first registered to vote in 1987, and became a Baha'i in 2000. That means I spent 13 yrs as a Christian voting adult. At NO TIME did I ever have the INSANITY to EVER register as or vote for a Republican, not then, not ever.

Hack, ptui, caca, no way!

I am a Christian and I am a registered Republican. When I first registered to vote in the mid eighties I registered as a Democrat. But as I read and researched as each election came and went, I realized that almost nothing that the Democratic Party stood for I agreed with. So, about 16 years ago, I changed parties. While I do not agree with everything that the Republican Party stands for, they are close to my values and beliefs.

I am a registered republican, since they seem to more closely follow my Christian values. I do believe in helping the poor, but I think that can be accomplished through private charitable organizations. I could not bring myself to vote for those Democrats who support murdering unborn children.

Before truliy committing to Christ, I considered myself a libertarian (imagine a fiscal conservative without much government involvement in anything outside of national defense, police, and the court of law).

Now, however, I don't much care to follow politics. There are more important issues at stake. We are here for only a brief few moments, and then comes eternity. We have work to do until then, and I don't really want to be distracted by something that is ultimately meaningless.

I'm a christian & I'm a registered republican.

Reason is I believe most republicans are more Godly. Sometimes a democrate will be more Godly.

No. I'm a slightly hawkish Truman Democrat. Favor strong national defense and robust social welfare programs.
