Keep the money and spend it on yourself. It is far more fun. And furthermore, you need those seven additional CDs. The enlightening news you need to hear is to accept yourself unconditionally, just the way you are. If you are in your bare feet, fun around the house and wave your arms and enjoy your new freedom. Don't pick on yourself. It's completely okay to have everything all figured out. You may be in a minority, but it is a good minority. It's only about five in the afternoon here in the states. It's just about time to think about supper. Try to completely let go of all those constructions in your mind. All the strategies and designs. Just doodle with a pencil or sit down at the piano and play a few notes for awhile. Hop on your bike and pedal five miles and back. Call a friend. Stop picking on yourself. Enlightenment means dropping all that inner mental chatter to yourself and just enjoying who you are right this minute while you are reading this. I am sitting here in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A., talking to you at 4:40 P.M. And in a few minutes, you are going to be reading these words where you are. That is pretty profound. By itself, it is profound. You don't even need a philosophy around it to make it that way. Communication. Well, now you are enlightened, and still rich. All that remains is to remember to eat something for supper! Sent with a big smile from Chris, 'way over here in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. at 4:40 P.M. on Monday afternoon, 31 July 2006. Take good care, now. - C.

there is a time for enlightenment and there is a time for unenlightenment -

everything is experienced through its opposite, so enlightenment is only possible with unenlightenment

when your time for enlightenment comes round, you will be contacted

there is a time for knowing the wrong things, and a time for knowing the truth

in the meantime, you can flick through 'the treasury of traditional wisdom', but you wont be able to tell which bits are true and which are false

but you might find things in there you like, or which stick with you

the truth is - well, you wouldnt believe me, you couldnt understand me

here is a story: there was a village, that had a huge wall behind it, and occasionally someone would climb the wall, look over, and their face would brighten enormously, and they would scramble over the wall and they were never heard of again - so one day the villagers tied a rope round the ankle of the next person to climb the wall, and after his face lit up, they pulled him down and asked him what he saw - but although he talked in words of their language, they could not understand him

after you get enlightened, you will know which bits of all the scriptures are true, and how they are meant to be read and understood, and why everyone gets them wrong

buddha, is it true that when you attained the consummation of incomparable enlightenment, you understood nothing at all?

yes, that is right, when i attained the consummation of incomparable enlightenment, i attained absolutely nothing at all - AND THAT IS WHY IT IS CALLED CONSUMMATION OF INCOMPARABLE ENLIGHTENMENT

I can't enlighten you. I have some experience in helping people with finding spiritual answers on their own.

I think if you are waiting for someone else to enlighten you, you might be in for a disappointment or at least a very long wait.

Take a left at the old oak tree, go till you see the knotty fence post and make a hard right at the ugly rock. From there it is about a spitting distance from the hawks nest. Good luck, and you can keep your deer!

True enlightenment cannot be bought. It is from within...and available to you if you care to find it. We were all born with an inherent sense of knowledge or wisdom...without exception....belonging to all of us collectively. May you find yours.

Seek knowledge and find the truth; then you will know the way.
Of course it will be up to you to take it.

Have a Good Evening!

Two things; good advice is always for free (so don't offer money), secondly, only one person can enlighten you... that's you.
