"The way a child discovers the world constantly replicates the way science began. You start to notice what's around you, and you get very curious about how things work. How things interrelate. It's as simple as seeing a bug that intrigues you. You want to know where it goes at night; who its friends are; what it eats."

David Cronenberg, Canadian Filmmaker

I mean Christianity, Judaism & Islam...why do we still have to put up with these arab style exports when it's as plain as the nose on anyone's face that there has been nothing but religious strife where these religions originated...I mean puhleese! get a grip and get over it already!... 2.000yrs is long enough lets now move on past the sectarian mythology of nomadic peoples.

Most Jews are Ashkenazi which means they are from Germany. From the Jewish encyclopedia:The reason for this rather peculiar identification of Ashkenaz, who is one of the descendants of Japheth (Gen. x. 3), is found in the Midrash, where R. Berechiah says: "Ashkenaz, Riphath, and Togarmah are " (Gen. R. xxxvii. 1), which evidently means German tribes or German lands. It would correspond to a Greek word Гερμανικια that may have existed in the Greek dialect of the Palestinian Jews, or the text is corrupted from "Germanica." This view of R. Berechiah, again, is based on the Talmud (Yoma 10a; Yer. Meg. 71b), where Gomer, the father of Ashkenaz, is translated by "Germamia," which evidently stands for Germany, and which was suggested by the similarity of the sound. The explanation of as a Mesopotamian district (Neubauer, "La Géographie du Talmud," p. 421, Paris, 1868; Fürst, "Glossarium Græco-Hebræum," p. 92, Strasburg, 1891; Krauss, "Lateinische und Griechische Lehnwörter") is forced. Not better is the derivation by Elijah Levita from the Talmudic = "fair" (see Tishbi, s.v., and "Monatsschrift," xxxviii. 260). A peculiar usage of the word is found in the dictionary of Samuel ben Solomon of Urgenj, who interprets Ashkenaz as Khwarizm (see Bacher, "Ein Hebräisch-Persisches Wörterbuch," pp. 19, 31, Budapest, 1900).

In later times the word Ashkenaz is used to designate southern and western Germany, the ritual of which sections differs somewhat from that of eastern Germany and Poland. Thus the prayer-book of Isaiah Horowitz, and many others, give the piyyuṭim according to the Minhag of Ashkenaz and Poland. The neo-Hebraic writers, mostly of Russian and Polish origin, have coined a verb, "to ape modern social manners."D.

Palestine was the name given to the area by Rome hundreds of years before Mohamed was even born. At the time, most of the Palestinians were Jewish. Including Jesus. Don't yell and scream, just think about it.

Are they born without out it or does it escape at some point to does it slowly leak out? Because christians don't have any logic at all. Yes of course a guy could build a boat big enough for 2 of every animal and then find 2 of every animal and then take enough food and water for them for 40 days and 40 nights. Of course that’s just one example there are countless more.

I could see him rocking out to some Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young ..especially the song "Southern Cross" they sing, here is some of the song

Think about how many times
I have fallen
Spirits are using me
larger voices callin'.
What heaven brought you and me
Cannot be forgotten.
I have been around the world,
Lookin' for that woman/girl, {(sophia-the sacred feminine)}
Who knows love can endure.
And you know it will.
And you know it will.
When you see the Southern Cross
For the first time
You understand now
Why you came this way
'Cause the truth you might be runnin' from
Is so small.
But it's as big as the promise
The promise of a comin' day. { (this is heaven--earth) ;)}
So I'm sailing for tomorrow
My dreams are a dyin'.
And my love is an anchor tied to you
Tied with a silver chain. {(think about this lyric here--Out of body)}
I have my ship
And all her flags are a flyin'
She is all that I have left
And music is her name.

LOL, we still love you though

First off, I think cheapens the bible message by attempting to use scientific data to "prove" the act of creation.

But as for answers in genesis (aig) they're a ministry for the institute for creation research (icr).

How can an institution be "scientific" but require all of its members to swear an oath affirming their belief in certain specific conclusions, regardless of the scientific evidence?

As for Scientific credentials? Not even close. Only a few have a degree in any of the life sciences. 3 have doctorates in education, 2 theologians, 5 engineers and the rest are a physicist, a chemist, a psycho-linguist, and a "food scientist".

I'm sure that there are scientists who do believe in creationism, just as there are scientists who believe in Bigfoot. But validity in science is decided by the evidence and data.

Despite 25 years of effort, none of the ICR scientists have yet come forward with any credible evidence which refutes the evolutionary model of biological development.

Do you have any specific pieces of jewelry that you wear every day? Are they special to you for any particular reason, or do you just like them? Any good stories behind them?

I have a necklace my boyfriend's mom gave me which is a symbol of good luck that is also supposed to keep bad spirits away (boyfriend's mom is Taiwanese). I also have a ring my boyfriend gave me (a heart of pink stones) that I wear on my right hand and a ring my dad left to me when he died that, thanks to the advice of some nice people in the ettiquette section, I am now wearing on a chain around my neck. :) I also have a choker with a pendant with the face of the Green Man on it, because I'm proud of my celtic roots. Yes, I wear three necklaces every day. I wear my Princess Leia watch (from Burger King!) every day because Princess Leia is awesome, and also I need to tell time.

Alright, your turn!

READ ALL OF THIS (DONT ANSWER IF DONT READ THESE)

Find me these words as the basis of your religion? If it is not in the Bible? I suggest dont use the Bible because the bible dont know christians or roman catholic (the roman owns you (your not Jesus catholic but Romans (ashamed)) ? Don't send me acts, romans and like psalms!!! who wrote them anyway? do you know? EARLY CRHISTIANS (who were crazy to have a God)?

Truly Jesus did want to stand a ne religion because he have only given one Prayer ( Our Father (means we are all children of God) not only Jesus (and Jesus did not say He is God, or the Holy Spirit) (Who are we to say He is God). And if he WANTED A NEW RELIGION, Why Pray in the Temple and join the prayer ( Be an audienced under the Priest (Is he God? Why Pray) (He teaches, because he is a Prophet) (he over and over saying He was sent By God) (He's Baptism was WITNESS BY GOD (IN HEAVEN) IN RIVER OF JORDAN (Are you insane, To Baptist God) (Do God need Salvation?)??.

Thank reader

Okay, I learned a lot of spanish through school and spanish speaking roommates, then I lived in Portugal for a while, and learned portuguese. I've been back in the states for about two years now, and it still seems whenever I try to speak spanish I always end up switching to portuguese mid-sentence. Any tricks for getting my head and mouth to better separate the two?
