I mean Christianity, Judaism & Islam...why do we still have to put up with these arab style exports when it's as plain as the nose on anyone's face that there has been nothing but religious strife where these religions originated...I mean puhleese! get a grip and get over it already!... 2.000yrs is long enough lets now move on past the sectarian mythology of nomadic peoples.

I WISH WE COULD MOVE ON AS WELL, BUT UNFORTUNATELY, EVERYONE IS ENTITLED TO THEIR BELIEF, HOWEVER WHEN THAT BELIEF STARTS TO FLOW OVER INTO OTHER PEOPLE'S BACKYARD, THEN THERE IS A DEFINATE PROBLEM. THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE BELIEVE WHAT THEY ARE TOLD. RELIGION HAS BEEN PASSED DOWN THROUGH THE GENERATIONS, FLOWING ON THE BLOOD OF ITS MARTYRS AND THAT BLOOD HAS LEFT A POWER EMPACT ON THOSE WHO ARE LEFT BEHIND TO CARRY IT ON. THEY WEREN'T KIDDING WHEN THEY SAID THE FOUNDATIONS OF THE CHURCH ARE LITERALLY COVERED IN BLOOD. LOOK AT THE ROMAN BRUTE, NERO, WHO WOULD USE EARLY, EARLY CHRISTIANS AS HUMAN TOURCHS FOR HIS DINNER PARTIES. WHETHER YOU BELIEVE IN IT OR NOT, THERE IS POWER BEHIND THE MOVEMENT OF THE CHURCH, THAT'S VERY HARD TO CONTEND WITH ON AN ACADEMIC LEVEL. IT'S HARD TO GET A BELIEVER TO REALLY LOOK AT THE HISTORY AND THE FACTS AND TRY TO PRESENT A CASE THAT THEY WOULD BE WILLING TO LISTEN TO, IN THE FACE OF THE POWER OF THE CHURCH. AS LONG AS WE KEEP TRYING TO EDUCATE THE MASSES, THERE WILL COME A DAY WHEN THE ARCHAIC CHURCHES OF OLD, WILL BE LAID TO REST AND UNFORTUNATELY WILL PROBABLY BE REPLACED BY SOMETHING ELSE.

This encounter was predicted long ago in Biblical passages. It's a sad world when the lot of us have been warned nearly 2000 years ago that this would happen and we still can't see what it's amounting to.
