I am constantly told that jesus died and paid a "blood debt" for our sins. Who the hell was owed this debt? Why couldn't God just go "hey, i'm the almighty, everyone is forgiven"? Why the ritual. seems kind of barbaric and unneccesary. I realize that man needs symbolism. But why does God need it? BTW, not trying to be offensive. I truly have never understood this.

You hear and read about them when they say "I don't let my wife work" or "when I get home the dinner better be on the table" and other such neanderthalic gibberish...
Honeslty have you people not noticed that this is the 21st century? Are you all so mired in your bronze-age mythology than you can't tell the difference between a materiel posession and what is supposed to be your best friend?
Honestly some of you treat your dog or your lawnmower with more respect than you do your wives...

Here we go. This is what christian is all about . this verse is from THE HOLKY BIBLE. Teaches slavery and sexual abuse:

When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment. (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)

OK, so you ask those who don't believe in God, "where did we all come from? who created Earth?"
So I ask, Who created God?"
and you respond, "He always existed".
Well, maybe the universe also always existed, and the planets formed by themselves, and lived happened spontaneously.
Makes as much sense as God always existing.
The Bible?
Of course, you will refer to a book that was wriiten by Moses, and not written by God.
So I asl, where did God come from?
Who created Him?

I took some lsd and realized what creativity really meant. I can alter this world with my focused intent.
