I'm from New York, and it was the first time I attended Gay Pride downtown, and I had the most amazing and beautiful experience. I cried happy and sad tears, because I love how united I felt being around people who had the same sentiments, but also because all we want is love, and people who are hateful towards us, can't just let it go, and accept that we are exactly the same as every other human being.

I went every year for several years, to the parades in Chicago. Then I stopped, just because the mob scene was too much for me. Now, I miss it and would have liked to go, but I have trouble standing or walking for sustained periods of time.....I wish they really had full coverage on cable.

I went to the Northhampton and the New York City one. The Northhampton one was nice. I never miss the NYC one. I was with a float this year. It was fun!

We had about 120,000 spectators at this years in San Diego, which took place under cloudy, humid, hot skies. A straight friend visiting from England rode on our group's flatbed truck, he was totally stoked, he dug it a lot!

I think it is so stupid what are they trying to prove? Whenever someone tells me "I am gay." I always ask them and what is your last name? It equal to someone telling me I am a thief.
