Life is a mess...just take whatever opportunities come your way...it never hurts to try something just to see if you like it....I think sticking to one career your whole life would be a waste of time when you could be meeting knew people or traveling...picking one thing and doing that forever is quite boring and should not be anyone's purpose...we are supposed to connect with people and spead love...touch people's lives and help them....having one career is too safe...we need to venture out and do things we've never done before...it is then that you will find purpose in life and meaning....I find that the only thing that really fulfills me is being a light in other people's lives and being there for them...connection...it's love...it's God. Have a wonderful day.

It is good that we have the Internet to put up any questions we have in our heads. And then we may receive many useless answers!
I have no answers for other people and I seek no answers for myself on the Internet.
I seek advices, opinions, friendly ideas to improve my mind for solving my own problems and for cooperating with other people to solve problems of mutual interest.
It seems that the first and most important question everybody should ask is: "What is the purpose of my life?"
To this important question we have no ready-made answers. All religions teach that man comes from God and the purpose of his life is to seek the true way to return to God. The understanding of this concise answer requires much of learning, praying, meditating along with some virtues such as humility, sincerity and patience...
For the man who has no interest in religion, he should also open his mind through other channels of education until when he knows what are other questions and where and how to get the wise answers.
After we are clear about the purpose of our lives, then it will be easier for us to make decisions about our job, our new family, our service to the country and to the world and so on.
If we don't know the purpose of our life, it is hard for us to make other choices, and even if we can make good choices, the result of our life will become naught, either we become kings or beggars.
Please rethink.

As far as career goes...your best path is that which you can fruitate from...one that lets you clock out at the end of your day with a sense of accomplishment, one that gets you right out of bed at the sound of the alarm, one that you can use to provide the lifestyle you enjoy.

And easy find? No, not always, but the search is half the fun...I, personally, have many experiences in many fields in my lifetime so far, and continue to explore new ones to this day...learned from them all...liked some, not all...and met soooo many "interesting" people along the way. Good Journey to you!

I think the hardest thing to do is just live. Day by day, do the little things. Get up, go to work, be kind, be humble, be merciful, forgiving, compassionate. If you are unsure of a certain direction to take, pray about it. If you don't get a definite answer...that's okay, just choose something and go ahead.

The bible tells us to love God with all our heart, all our mind, and all our soul. I think, if we do this, we never have to worry about "direction"....just do what He asks and let Him steer you, when and if He does. If we get out of line, He will put us back in line. Since I have been "born again", when I feel out of God's will about something, it isn't long until I notice the source of my mistake and correct it. Remember, the holy spirit lives within you, if you are a believer in Jesus Christ. God will not let you stray *smile* for very long, if you do!

Someone said "love God with all your heart, and do as you will"....just set out on the path, He will guide you in His righteousness and timing.

By doing what God wants us to do- and to know what He wants us to do, you have to inquire from the Bible and other such bona fide scriptures. Another good way is to look for a person who is a bona fide spiritual teacher and knower of the truths- as such a person can answer all your questions and guide you through your life.

you need to get a career counselor, and find out what your talents are, through a test. THEN, they will give you a list of possibilities for a career.

God doesn't have a specific job he wants us to do. true, he does want us to find a purpose in life, but the main thing he wants us to do is to love each other and to learn the power of forgiveness.

All you can do is pray about it. If you are a Christian, your purpose in life is to witness to others and bring more of God's children to him. Teach others the gospel. That is all of our purpose!!
