Most, if not all, conspiracy theories are based on videos or photographs being heavily scrutinized and seen as false, followed by counter arguments (most of which seem to avoid the issue in question).
The Moon Landing, Area 51, 9/11, Kennedy, Princess Diana etc, etc.
There is no such video or photo evidence of God to scrutinise, yet millions of people still believe, and those that don't, haven't much to argue about because there is no proof to examine.
Have I answered my own question - that maybe atheists could be correct?
