Um...they both stink.
Religion is a concept that has far outlived its usefulness. The only purpose it serves in the modern world is to separate people and give them a reason to hate each other. Sure there are charities that do good work involved with all religions. Why can't we do that without religion? Think of how much more good those charities could do if they worked together for the good of all humans...not just the ones who believe as they do.

All religions are expressions of man's devotion to God. The cultural backgrounds and how they are practiced are the only differences.
How they are practiced makes them worlds different. Some Muslims still believe that all other religions are false and everyone must either convert or be killed. Christianity had that phase too, about 1,500 years ago. Those Muslims who still feel that way have a false religion. Anyone who thinks 90% of the Earth's populace are inferior to them are psychotic.

I think superior is the wrong word. True, most Christian religions do not oppress their women, but I don't think that is the answer you are looking for. I think that what makes Christianity truer to the believer is that for one, there are texts that date back to the first century A.D., two we are not based on the rantings of a man who got his revelation while under demonic possession, and three our texts do not say to kill all that do not submit to our beliefs.

Bad enough some want to fight with the non religious, now you wish to start up with people of Islam? I think YOU need to start thinking for YOURSELF and realize that stating a superiority over them is not a smart idea...
NO ONE is superior over another.

Islam is teaching false doctrine and a lie . There is only one God and Savior of the world . John 14:6 If anyone denies Jesus , He will also deny before the Father and cast them into the Lake of Fire . Revelation 21:8

That's a bit of a leap ( of faith , perhaps ) , who said any thing about any one true religion holding any form of superiority over another ! ?
Do they not all share knowledge / co-operate in sharing knowledge on how we should live our lives primarily on the spiritual plane ( and if we are achieving this then then the physical / material shall follow suit ) , in order that we all , individually and collectivelly as the human race , make progress , in this life , in all our lives .
Anything about superiority there is there , nothing about competition there is there ? !

I am not an expert on Islam by any means, but this is what I have observed. For Christianity, salvation is a gift of God, and was given not by works so I can't be boastful for having done something that Got me to heaven. I am totally dependent on God for my salvation. Christianity is about life. Christ died for us, but after 3 days, he was alive again and too His place at the right hand of God to make intercession for me. In Christianity, last is made first and the first is made last. There are provisions for even the smallest and the least to Come to Christ and they have the ability to gain great rewards in heaven. God does not play favorites. Women have the ability to come to God and to recieve the same rewards.
Islam is about what the person can do in order to God to heaven. It also hinges on death and distruction. If you kill someone in Jihad, if you are a man you are ushered into paridise to be with several virgins. Islam is about killing everyone that does not convert to islam. You have to do something yourself to Gain salvation and you have to do works to gain favor with Allah.

To know the truth, you have to know that there is a truth.
Look at history. In the first days of Christianity it was spread by followers who gave up what they had for the sole purpose of following Christ. They sacrificed everything, even their lives. What could have made these people CHANGE their beliefs? Only seeing Christ resurrected could do that. These people were willing to confess their allegiance to a man who had already been killed. They did this even if it meant they to would be killed. Saul of Tarsus hunted and persecuted Christians until he saw Christ. He gave up his power and authority to become one of the hunted. He would not have done this if he had not in fact seen something convincing.
Islam on the other hand was spread by a man named Mohammed. He gave people the chance to convert, and if they refused, he killed them. His tribesmen grew stronger because the gained power and wealth as they conquered other tribes. As these tribes unified their strength continued to grow. So in the early days of these religions, one grew because it's leaders threatened to kill anyone who did not convert and the other grew because it's followers would rather die than deny Jesus. As we learn to be better followers of Christ, we become more peaceful. By contrast as Muslims become better followers of Mohammed they become more violent.

If you're a Christian, you have a personal relationship with Christ, who died for your sins, so you can spend eternity in Heaven. All you have to do is accept what Christ did for you on the Cross to be saved.
Islam, like all cults and religions, has man-made rituals to follow to earn your way to heaven. Religion is man's attempt of clothing himself in holiness.
Islam, and even the Catholic church and others, have rules and rituals to follow, which in effect are circumventing Cross.
When Christ died on the Cross, He said it is done. Nothing we can do can add to that. Christ did all the work.

1:We worship the same god, the god of abraham and isaac.
2:John said that after him, there would be no other profits. Muhammed came hundreds of years later.
3:Islam proclaims that jesus was the greatest profit, so that makes two of us.
4:Islam is the brother religion of christianity and the son of the jews. We simply view god differently.
