Life has no purpose. None. For all we know, we do not even exist. You speak as though you met him (Jesus). He was most likely a hoax.
If the Old and New Testaments were not a work of fiction, Then "God", is the most fouled up thing ever. They say that Jesus died for our sins, well horse poop. Humans have died MUCH more horrible deaths since we have been here. At least Jesus didn't have AIDS or Cancer, he died relatively quickly. Try living and dying of Spinal Bifida. And if he was the son of god, or god, so what, the game is rigged. Their GOD. Wow some loss. He could do it indefinitely.
And why the whole universe for just us? We are stupid 10,000 year old animals with a little more thinking capacity then we need. We have been worshiping everything from rocks to the stars for 10,000 yrs. We're dumb.
Being raised to believe something as fact is nothing more then brain washing.

Pay no attention to the ignorant souls who thinks "Christian" is the chosen over Jews. They haven't understood that the word "Christian" was generated by the secular - not the believers in Jesus.
In reality - followers of the Way (Jesus being the Way / i.e., Christians) are "adopted" Jews and not the other way around. They lost sight or perhaps their pastors were blind not teaching them these things.
I will not die for the name of Christianity - but I will die for standing up for Christ Jesus. Praise God for you.
If anyone else is reading this - be advised - Jews typically do not believe Jesus is the son of God - UNTIL the Spirit of God draws him. YES THERE ARE SAVED JEWS THAT BELIEVE ON THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS AS REDEEMER AND SAVIOR!
Shame on those who put this young man down, rather than rejoicing that another soul has come to know Jesus.

First of all, welcme to Christianity. Realize however, that the
Lord, gave Moses the '10 commandments' was the LordJesus Christ. A reason that many people do not believe that until now; is the addition to God's word better knownb as the Red Letter Edition.(Further, Jews and Christians also have the 'two or more witnesses' principle, but many Christians do not apply it fully.

I think you are confused. Jews don't believe that Jesus is the son of God. Christians believe in that. Anyway you are always welcomed in Christianity. But get your facts straight.
I hope you aren't being a troll and doing this to make fun of us, and you are being honest about accepting Jesus as your savior. Is not very nice too make fun of other believes..

understanding that God will forgive you does no longer mean that provides you the license to sin, think of roughly what if God did no longer have a answer for this or his son Jesus did no longer got here to die to your sins, what then, you be attentive to what, the bible says that when you be attentive to what's proper and you do no longer do it, that's a sin, so my brother, it basically takes one little mistake to leaven the finished lump, wait till you're married or sustain your self, with prayers and staying interior the face of God. as properly you're Jewish, you're God's human beings and the messiah is readily to come back.

I don't think you have to think of yourself as being selfish before you came to know the Lord. God was preparing your heart during that time, and you found Him! You have come to know Him through the Jewish scriptures and that is wonderful! I pray that you are able to help other Jewish people come to know Him as you have. God bless you!

Apparently the other answerer's don't know their bibles very well. If they did the would realize that the apostles, Paul and many other Jewish people converted to Christianity.
Congratulations brother, its good to have you with us.

David,
You are a christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades christianity.
