Love, be it known is neither the owning or possession of another. That is all selfishness. Love is the giving of oneself to another, and the only way you can love is to joyfully and freely give of yourself to others in selfless care and affection. The reward is knowing and experiencing the happiness, satisfaction and difference your love brings in your beloved. Like Barbara Streisand sang in 'Tell him' Love is ultimately a gift you give to yourself. Enjoy.

Love is a choice. Well, the idea of love is an ideal with a basis of comparison in God. You can no more define love than define God's supposed perfection.

But when you love, you make a choice and a commitment. Staying true to those first beliefs is love.

The chemical reaction lasts only a year. But the commitment should last a life time.

Love doesn't exist. It's just that hormone induced feeling that makes you concentrate on the real reason of your existence - to procreate.

It sucks, but we have a choice. We could embrace this idea as an important but non-essential part of our life (the important part is to be a good person and to move forward in life) or we could allow ourselves to revolve around this idea that we need love and then wither away.

You have to take chances. Remember that Love is emotional not physical. The physical part that people confuse with Love is only Lust. Try Love first.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." --the Holy Bible, first Corinthians chapter 13 verse 4-7

It is what each person thinks love is to them. Whither they feel they have been loved or have fallen in love or feel they have never been loved. Someone may love us and we don't think they do because they don't say it or show it the same way we think what love should look or feel like in their behavior.ak

The real meaning of love in my opinion is something that is not something that you say it's what you feel deep down inside your heart.

when u r comfortable with everything with ur loved ones. It is love. It's not in your hand to love somebody. Everything is depends on mind. If ur mind selected somebody, u will start thinking about him.
Thinking about the person is the first step to fall in love.
If u love urself then only u can love others. If u love urself and u start thinking about the person(mostly in night) , u can be in love with that person. Please reply to me. I want to hear ur feedback.
