if you are looking for the exact word being said to be wrong in the Bible, but you might consider , in what context that word is generally used, and therefore would it really be fitting to use that word in church,or even in private? After or during or before thinking about this, you might like to look up these scriptures below and think about it some more: Ephesians4:31 1Timothy6:4 Ephesians2:3,4.5 I hope that helps!

I could be wrong but I believe that is more of a social taboo than a religious one. The bible was written in Herbrew or some ancient form of that language and so they didn't even have the f word..... therefore it wouldn't be in the bible saying not to say it.

I don't think the f word is actually in the bible. However, it is not a nice word to say because even if you aren't saying it to anyone, you are cursing all the same. Have some respect if not for yourself, but for others.

It doesn't say it anywhere.

Say whatever you want, but do remember, what you put out to the universe comes back to you, positive or negative, in one form or another. When you keep that in mind you think a bit more about what you do or don't want to say.

But it is a personal decision and should not be made because of possible judgment by others.

I say it often, but there is certain company in which I would not utter it, out of respect. Ie: my parents, in-laws, around kids, or others in positions of authority or the elderly, or in a professional setting, or in a church or hospital type of setting.

The F word is cursing - the Bible speaks plenty of this:

The F word is an acronym meaning Fornication Under Consent of the King. You're referring to fornication, and it's considered wrong to mention in church.

The Bible repeatedly warns against any language that is not positive and glorifying. The F word would not qualify!!!
We must watch what we say because that sets us up for what we will get out of life and nobody wants to be F'd by life!!!

Ephesians 4:29 "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen"

It may not specifically list this word (as it was not yet a word at the time this was written), but this word is considered a curse word, and offensive/ unwholesome. This word does not lift up, but tear down and destroy... we are to use words that build up and benefit others.
