why do drivers enter the freeway going 45 mph where everyone is traveling at the speed of sound...forget merge...has anyone ever heard the word blend? accelerate to the flow of traffic and blend in. why do i always have to change lanes then after the other driver has ###### up the flow of traffic he suddenly decides to crank it up to 75 and i can change back to the lane that i was forced out of in the first place...that is if i missed the 18 wheeler to my left...sometimes i just say #### em and don't move to the left...now im the nut. enter the highway check the rearview and side mirrors, accelorate and get with it

no i am not traveling abovr the speed limit...the reference to cars traveling at the speed of sound applies to the other traffic. nor do i drive a 6 cylinder automoble...its a four cyl honda and it has no problem getting up to 65mph and moving into without impeding traffic.

I feel so strongly about this. There are A LOT of bad drivers here in Idaho, and it makes me so mad. People merging should be considerate of other drivers and get up to speed BEFORE they enter the flow of traffic. Same goes for getting OFF the freeway... don't start slowing down until you're on the onramp! Don't start slowing down when you are still in the lanes of traffic!! Mergers shouldn't expect everyone to move over for them, they should find their place in traffic, and if they see another car coming either speed up fast enough so that you can get in front of it without slowing down, or slow down enough to enter traffic behind it!!!

Well, when you're on the highway, you can see where the on-ramps are. I for one, merge over to the left passing lane every time I have to pass an on-ramp, in apprehension of idiots who can't merge onto the highway in a normal fashion. Rather than slam on my brakes for a nincompoop who doesn't understand what YIELD means, I just assume they are all incompetant idiots behind their wheels, and I just get out of the way. I used to let myself be angry. Now I just leave them to kill themselves, and I get my own self ouuuuuutta there. And hey, in some of those people's defense, they are old and shouldn't be driving, and we need federal mandated re-tests after the age of 65... it will save a lot of lives! Also, I'm guessing you have a V6 or better... have some patience for those of us with 4 cylinders, who take a few more seconds to get up to 65!

1st of all, if you are going that fast, you shouldn't be driving in the slow lane. move over a couple of lanes so you don't have to deal with cars entering the freeway. 2nd, what's the big f*cking deal? do you think that cars entering the freeway are all of a sudden driving at the flow of traffic? just move over and you're done!

once you're petrified of the parkway, stay faraway from it until eventually you develop into better optimistic on your using skills. it is going to come to you. My spouse drove for better or less 30 years previously getting on a parkway. this may no longer be your case even if, meaning you may no longer ought to attend that lengthy.
