Your question is just so much more fodder for the separatist and elitist grist mill, don't 'ya think?
Your comparisons are flawed and incomplete - and manifest your personal opinions ---- rather than ask questions for others to answer.

I do have to agree with your logic and I do feel that an atheist has better values.
I don't remember ever reading or hearing in the news where an atheist was raping children or ironing their teen-age daughter's boobs. I can find that news report if needed it was just a few weeks ago. The Middle East as everyone well knows has no atheists and there has been war there forever because each side thinks their god is better than the other. If there were to be a war between Christians and atheists it would be because the Christians was forcing the fairy tales on the atheists.
Atheists knows there is no life after this one so why tie a bomb to your chest to kill someone else being it means you die as well. Death is final there is no second chance. Where Christians think they will get to go to some great place after death. And who knows they might just be one of the 70 virgins that the men from the middle east gets to have sex with when they kill Americans. It does not say the virgins are female just that they get 70 of them to do as they please with.
So I think I will stay out of church because I am a good person and don't have to fake it thinking I'm going to get to go some where that is only in the fairytale. If you are good you are good. If you have to be scared in to it it is fake. If this god is a true god and knows all it don't matter what you do your thoughts will tell on you.
I'm a pro atheist.

Okay Genius.
Christians are taught that you no longer have to abide by the laws of the land, but by the laws of heaven. So even if we break the law, we must be truly repented to escape punishment from God.
Athiests think that once they have done the time, they are free to do what the want again.
Christians are taught, that no matter how bad you may think your life is, or how many wrong things yo have done in the past, there is always hope and salvation for you, because our life on earth is a speck of dust compared to eternity.
Athiests need drugs and clinical psychology.
Christians are taught to love one another as they would love themselves. And feel that to lie is as bad as murdering someone, so they try not to do anything bad to the people around them.
Athiests justify their decadent lifestyles by saying that they really aren't that bad of a person, and that hey, Hitler was worse.

I try not to stereotype people based on their faith or lack thereof. There are plenty of bad Christians and bad atheists. There are probably more bad Christians since there are so many, many, many more of them.
A person of faith believes that their good deeds or sins will outlive them (afterlife), while an atheist has no such belief. Therefore, I would believe a religious person would have high values since they know this life is only part of their existence, and whatever they do will follow them.
An atheist has no such future existence hanging over their head, and so would have less reason not to do something bad, especially if they thought they'd get away with it.
By the way, the sacrifice of Jesus was to absolve us of original sin (Adam and Eve, that stuff), not for anything we might do in the future.

Im christian my self but i can see how people are atheist, i would have to say atheist have better values, and to justify, the christian way is hipocritical it says god will forgive u for your sins, over and over, so thats basically a pass to do what ever you want, and not feel guilt, and any christian can tell you that they have doubted their religion at least once, im struggling with it myself, ive been taught christian my whole life, and now that im older, it seems like christianity sounds to good to be true, everlasting forgiveness, our sins have been paid for, it just seems like somethig to keep people feeling good about the sick and fu*ked up $hit that we do

Values have little to do with faith, and some of the things you mentioned that christians are taught, I dont know where you learned that. Jesys Our Lord and Saviour did pay the price for our sins, but only if you believe, and turn away from your sins.

I'm an atheist, and I disagree. There's good and bad in every religion. Christians don't refrain from murder just because the Bible tells them to. Atheists don't refrain from murder because of the Justice system.
People are taught right from wrong by their upbringing.

Atheists have better values in my opinion. Atheists don't harass the way bible-thumpers do, although I have had Atheists try to persuade me into giving up my religious beliefs, but not nearly as much as bible-thumpers do. Many of the most intelligent minds in history were Atheist, and I have nothing but respect for that. Blessed be.

Well actually Christians have guilt and are under the judicial system as well, so your question is a tad ridiculous. Why can't people just let each other live the way they want to?????

Morality does not come from religion. That Christianity does not teach people to be immoral by the very mechanism you proposed does not mean that Christians are immoral.
That both groups are about as moral means that the source of morals is elsewhere.
