Are you embarrassed by any of your previous posts?

I once asked, " How do we know that the dinosaurs weren't just magical creatures made of bone?" when I was drunk once, as a joke, but nobody thought it was funny.

Because it wasn't.

My boyfriend was diagnosed with brain tumor 2-3 years ago. He stops taking any medicine and treatment after he thinks he has okay. But, for the past few months, his head feel sick again. It’s just like before, when he was sick. Now, he did not take any medicine because if he did, he easily forgetting many things. Nobody knows about this even his family and friends except me. But, thanks to god, I succeed to persuade him to seeing the doctor. today, now, i want to accompany him to do check up with the doctor. I just want to know what I should do, should I go with him to the doctor's room or waiting outside. What should i say if the results are bad? How can i tell his mother about his illness? (His family doesn't know about that).what the doctor will do?

if he must stay in ward tomorrow, I’m the one who must tell his family. That’s our promise..
i do need some support now..

sorry for the (semi) rant, but its just always kind of bugged me.

I'm already pretty sure how you feel about Christians, that they are brainwashed by the church and the bible, etc. How about Pagans? We're worshippers of the earth and our religious laws are based on the laws of nature such as karma. Your thoughts?

For the record, I have lots of respect for Atheists. Most of the ones I've met are very intelligent and logical, and I admire the way they value validated knowledge. Blessed be.

They could even be solar powered? Also, how about returning to using horses for transportation instead of cars. Cars are smelly too, and require extra care and feeding and a place to park. Don't you think we're all travelling, moving, thinking, living too fast any way? Any one care to brainstorm new ideas on fuel and travel? Would you be willing to be the first to use a horse to go to the store or to work or ???

Web sites catering to certain tastes of individuals within our communities are becoming very popular. These web sites are places where people can upload explicit images of unsuspecting ladies that they have captured illegally and distribute them both for profit and just for the thrill. The rise in their popularity is directly linked to the development and availability due to relatively low cost of digital cameras and the rise in popularity of the internet. This is just one example of the new world to which the PC, the internet and digital cameras are contributing. As there exists the possibility for many different tastes, there is a great variety of more examples of these web sites varying only in their level of depravity.

What if anything can be done to stop it?

I see some of the answers on this site and it deeply saddens me how A LOT of Christians are bashing people when it says in the bible that we shouldn't do that. How are we to show people that God is good when we act like devil spawn? Hasn't anyone hear of "kill them with kindness" which in fact means that we live our lives as an example of God's love for all of us? Or, "do unto others"? My heart hurts deeply over this. Thank you and God Bless all of you.

Is modern day marriage another form of social slavery, where people think like a giant herd of hormone driven animals finding the closest match to genetically reproduce offspring, and where failed marriages are recycled, and kids are used as pawns, homes are split in half, and where nothing is sacred?

Or is everyone who is married intentionally following good parenting/survival skills?

Any comments/personal experiences welcome!

:)

Let me put it this way. I seek and find God/Jesus through NATURE...not through a book compiled by men or by church. It's my belief that Jesus and God are real, but it's hard to believe literature when everything was passed down by word of mouth as it was written. Do you think I'm making my own unique faith?

"And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat."(Gen. 1:29[KJV])

God didn't say whether or not to use the animals as meat. Would this mean that God wanted man to be vegetarians?

No bashing please.

To me is the same as asking "have you had sex on your parents bed?" Is that wrong? or offensive?
Please give me your opinions and tell me if Yahoo Ans. were right or wrong in banning my question.

The question is simple, do you consider pride a sin? What do you peresonally believe.

I think we have a right to be proud of our heritage, who we are, what we are, but I know one of the "seven deadly sins" is pride.
For example, I should be proud to be a homosexual, but there is so much stigma that I think it's stupid. I would hope that the reason for your pride is justified though. I mean I'm being pretty brave to post about it in a forum with people who could think of me or have stigma over me just because of that.

But I also think people should be proud for being heterosexual or bisexual.

I find it very conflicting and wouldn't mind hearing other people's opinions on pride in general. (Not just pride about sexuality, but pride of your heritage, because patriotism seems like a form of pride too, and I'm proud of some of the things my ancestors did too.) Can pride be justified? Does it need to be, is it a good thing and not a sin too?
