OK, I often find it hard to forget, things hard to concentrate and I heard meditation and yoga will help. So my question to you is what are the best ways to meditate/do yoga, some website links would help too, thanks.

Lately I'm really into Heart Rhythm Meditation:
www.appliedmeditation.org

which involves meditation on the heartbeat and coordinating the breath with it. I feel a strong emotional release, which helps increase the sharpness of my focus on day-to-day issues.

I find it helpful to pick a specific time of the day to meditate (mine is first thing in the morning). This helps me stick with it; the more often I meditate, the better my mental concentration in daily life.

Good luck, enjoy, and Namaste! :)

I've never heard lets meditate to the yoga god...How about just plain old god? Look up meditation in the dictionary?! To free your mind of stress and to open your mind to your surroundings while having your eyes closed...Mmm sounds a whole lot ;like prayer to me?! Any time you just relax and free your thoughts of what irks you has to be good for you. Yoga is complicated by exercises not just meditation. Go to your local gym and then come home and relax your mind and body...will thank you!!

1 Sit as comfortably with your back erect. Imagine that there are strings attached to the top of your crown and your collar bone. 2 Close your eyes. 3 Breathe naturally. 4 Center your consciousness in your Heart Chakra. 5 Focus attention in the triangular area between the bridge of the nose and the top of the upper lip. 6 Remain aware of each breath as it passes through the nostrils, if you cannot feel the air moving increase the force of the breathing temporarily. 7 After awhile move attention to the small triangular area between the top of the nose and the upper lip. As you practice pay no heed to any sensations, thoughts or images that may pop up, but without reacting immediately return your attention to the breathe with an inner smile. Treat the whole process like an amusing game and avoid any judgment or frustration. You succeed just by trying. Each attempt regardless of the result is a success. There is no possibility of failure.

Meditation is easy. You just relax and open up your mind. If any thoughts pop into your head, let them work their own way out by letting them go. Make sure you do this when you have plenty of time to do it (not before you have to go to work or something), and don't focus on doing it RIGHT. Just breathe deep and relax. Practice makes perfect, so don't fret if you can't get it right the first time. Best of luck to you. Blessed be.
