God touches our lives in many ways and I feel that butterflies are a miracle that God made . They live very short lives compared to us and just when you think God isn't listening to you they come around . May He bless you and wrap you in His everlasting grace .

Butterflies are powerful symbols for transformation and change throughout many traditions and belief systems. The final transformation is to become a beautiful colorful floating butterfly. The wings pump with blood and we are free to float into our new world, flitting about seeing things from a whole new perspective.
Maybe you have joy in your life or prehaps you are a joyful person. When we encounter butterflies in our daily lives they are always a joy to find and a good totem. When one day you open your curtains and a butterfly flutters up you know that a glorious change is taking place in your life. You see the butterfly flutter his wings, almost dancing along. This is what the butterfly teaches, that true joy is within the dance of life.

Life is full of signs and symbols. Even if you had tons of cockroaches, it would also mean something of a spiritual nature. I think what most people miss is that many of the things that happen to us, good and bad, are brought on by our very own actions. Certainly accidents happen, too, though. Pray about it. Meditate on it.....look within and you will find out what this means for you.

Yes, butterflies are spiritually symbolic of rebirth and renewal, particularly of the spiritual self.
You may be going through an inner, spiritual transformation yourself and this is a sign that you are on the right path, for you.

I think that butterflies are a spiritual picture of what happens to people when they become a Christian. Before becoming a Christian they're like caterpillars, blind creatures creeping along looking to satisfy their hunger. Then when they become a Christian they're like a caterpillar in a cocoon that is being slowly transformed into the glorious likeness of Jesus. Maybe God is trying to get your attention and tell you that He wants to make you like Jesus.
Romans 8:29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. 30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

I think you drive too slow. just kidding.
They are often used to tell kids about how someone changes when they die. The same way a caterpillar can't know that it will become a beautiful butterfly, we can't fully understand what we will be like when we are in heaven. We just know it will be beautiful.

Listen to Alicia Key's song entitled, "Butterfly." The context in which it is used is a metaphor meaning the joy and pleasure a woman gets from a man who treats her right.

Is it possible that you are in Texas or the southwestern US?
Drought and temperature has caused an explosion in the butterfly population in certain parts of the country.
It's not spiritual, it's nature.

I think they're very pretty. Maybe they think you're very attractive and want to be around you, according to some religions. Or, it's a sign of something disastrous to come. Take your pick. But I suggest the first one.
