i hate looking at a question and trying to decode what the h*ll the person is trying to ask because they decide they want to skip pronouns and verbs..my BIG question is. is it proper to say mines because whenever i hear or see someone say/type it i just want to punch them in the face. i mean thats mines? wtf what r are you trying to say that is mine is?

i spent 6 year's takeing care of my husband he had cancer and died i feel now i have no one that can pamper and care for me i spent 1 year takeing care of my son after he was hit by a truck now i have a daughter with 2 rare deseas's one of the brain she just got out of surgery and i feel like that is all my life is about takeing care of everyone else but me there is no way i can trun my back on my own has anyone else been there and how do you deal with it i love the lord and i try to do his will everyday i know i'am not perfect but i need tender loveing care myself

Is this true? Whats the proof? All I know is that Jesus was the son of God. Thats what I learn in Church. Why do people think this? Please tell me. I dont know whether jesus was Jewish, Christian, the son of God, or the same. There are so many beleifs which has the most proof? Lately I've seen too many questions about race and such. It is the year 2006, and we as a nation has gotten over so much. With the war going on, soldiers dying everyday, with what happen with Hurricane Katrina, and any other disasters America has had to deal with recently, why are people so stuck on the race card. I'm so tired of hearing about White people talking down Blacks, or Mexicans, Jewish, or any other NON White group. I mean come on, if you are a racist I'm calling you out. There are just as much whites killing people as they are Blacks and Mexicans. There just as many unemployed teen mothers black as they are white. There are many poor struggling white people that are working pay check to pay check as they're blacks. I'm getting off track, but I really want to know. Why with everything that is going on in America are people still hung up over race??? Get over it, its 2006!!!

i recently met some young people of the mormon faith they seemed very nice, they asked to come to my home, and give me some books ,and brochures ,and mormon pamplets, we had one study so far but its confusing to me, they say they go by the teachins of joseph smith, so i told my sisters and some friends, all gave me some not so good information about these people is there anyone that can give me more detailed information?? i dont know much about mormons, plz be serious, and not sarcastic comments, i am just tryin to learn about there religion thank u... would love all types of veiws and opinions..

This is a serious question, please don't spout 50 bible verses in your comment...I probably won't read it.

When did Christianity first start? (Time period). I have a preconceived notion that in the age of [at least] early egyptians and prior to that there was no "christianity". Is my notion correct? If not pls fill me in (factual evidence please, nothing from the Bible)

I was wondering, if my notions are right and there was a time when 'christianity' was not known...what happend to the people living at the time when they died? Also, same goes for other cultures who did not have contact with Christianity. If they did not have the opportunity to know about it, did they not go to 'heaven' because of it???

LUBBOCK, Texas, July 24 (UPI) -- Public officials in Lubbock, Texas, are organizing a day to pray for rain.

"Nobody is going to tell God what to do and what not to do, but we are in a serious drought in West Texas and since he is the man who controls the rain clouds, we're asking him for his mercy and his help," Mayor David Miller told the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.

The City Council and the Lubbock County commissioners are expected to adopt resolutions this week asking local residents to both pray and fast for rain this Sunday.

So far this year, Lubbock has received about half of its normal 10 inches. In the weeks since June 1, the growing season for cotton, rainfall has been a scant .75 inches, far less than the normal 4.43 inches.

The so called christian world as a majority teaches the trinity as the truth. They teach that Jesus is God and Jesus is the Creator. They teach that Jesus did pre-exist in one form or another.

1Peter 1:20 declares that Jesus was manifest at the end of times. This can only say one of two things:

Therer was no evidence or confirmation of the fact there was a Jesus until the end times which does require actual manifestation for one. The other is there was past manifested evidence of the existance of Jesus but this evidence was hidden until the end of times. It seem most of the christian world likes the latter by saying that Jesus did pre-exist.

If Jesus was creator, he created Mr Adam but the bible says the physical body of Jesus came from the body of Mr Adam. Are the so called christians saying Mr Adam also pre-existed before Jesus? Or is it they are saying that an offspring created His father or source, Mr Adam? LOL + Ha Ha Did the egg create the chicken then become an egg? ?
