Pretty lame argument. There is a lot more in the Bible to contradict than what you posted.

The Bible teaches that Jesus, the 2nd person of the Trinity, has always existed, along with the Father and the Holy Spirit. But Jesus took on human flesh and became a man when he was born 2000 years ago. After he was resurrected he took on a glorified, immortal body. Prior to his birth, I'm not sure what kind of a physical body, if any, he had. Many Bible scholars believe that, prior to his birth, he made appearances on the Earth in a human body. These appearances are referred to in the Old Testament as "the angel of the Lord" and are also called cristofonies (sp?).

Have you ever actualy sat and studied what you rale against? Actualy sat with one of The Christian Faith and gone through a study of what you have just ridiculed?... It is clear you have a basic mis-conception of the Biblical referances you cite. It would take more time than is given on Y Q&A to even define terms let alone go into the study necessary to prsent even the most basic outline of the presence of The Word who IS Jesus The Christ all throughout The Bible.
I have been of the Christian Faith for just over six years and I ave just begun to have a basic understanding... I did not own a Bible on the day of my Salvation... and it did not come from a book or any man teaching...my Salvation in from God directly... I now study The Bible to learn more...but it will take more than the years I have remaining to get all the way thorogh The Bible... Just reading thriouh it from front to back achieves nothing... it is not ment to be read that way... And one a very few verses can be taken out of context and retain their meaning...
1 Peter 1:20 only refers to the manifestation of the mortal Body used by Jesus The Christ when he came 2000 yrs ago...the last of that verse should be read "..But was manifest in these last times for you" The Last times refer to the time just past for those to whom Peter was speaking...NOT the end of times which is to come yet....... a serious mis reading...and it can not be used to imply as you believe.

Jesus, The Holy Spirit and God are one Spirit and all existed before the creation of the earth and man.
So yes they were alive before Adam was created.
According to Hebrew law at that time, the attonement of sin could only occur through the sacrifice of flesh. Jesus had to become flesh (man) to be the living sacrifice for men. However; although Jesus was a descedent of Adam, he was not an offspring of Adam. Jesus' conception was immaculate. Meaning man's sperm did not create him.
The requirment for him to pay the penatly of sin for man was that he be born of flesh (woman) but without sin. Therefore he could not be an offspring of Adam or he would have been the same as any other man and incapable of saving man.
The Creator (meaning God the Father, Jesus His Son and The Holy Spirit who are one in spirit) "did become flesh and took on the sins of man and was crucified as attonement for sin so that all men might be saved".

1 Peter 1:20 simply says that it is only in these last days that Jesus was manifested, and that before He was manifested He was 'foreknown'. Manifested merely refers to the fact that He was made known to us, that He was revealed to us. It does not mean that He did not exist, just that He was not revealed yet.
As for Adam, Jesus in His incarnate form of course had to be physically born of a woman - He therefore came from the body of Adam in the sense that Adam was a human ancestor of Jesus. Adam does not have to pre-exist in order to be an ancestor.

In the beginning was the Word(Jesus). and the Word was with God and the Word was God..
Read the WHOLE THING NOT JUST LITTLE PARTS
Also to clear up the Jesus Adam thing read the Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and Pearl of Great Price.
I'd also suggest after that, graduate to the Apocrypha, Gnostic Gospels etc.

You studied for 23 yrs and are stuck on this? Who was your teacher?
Jesus has existed for eternity. He was revealed to us as the gospels say. Adam has not existed for eternity but was created. Jesus physical birth was a means to be revealed not a means to come into existence.

Jesus did exist before he was in human form, he was spirit, that's who God was speaking to when he said "let us make man in our own image"he had to walk as a human he didn't have a body so he had to create one ,which was in Mary,Adam did not preexist, before Jesus, your problem is like with many, many others is you are trying to fit God 's ability's in to human knowledge, and reason and it can't be done ,you have no concept of how Almighty , and vast and knowledgeable he is you're trying to fit his knowledge in your brain and that's why you are confused, our brains cant comprehend God,that why its so unbelievable to a lot of people.

God created the chicken before the egg.
And you are quite funny.
You sound like the devil trying to tempt Jesus.

You make me laff.
Here I go:
Hahahahahahahah.
Anyways. Only a dumbaye would ask which came first (chicken or egg).
Have a nice day.

yes in the very same verse it states that He did preexist.....
20For He was )foreknown before the foundation of the world, but has appeared in these last times for the sake of you ....
once again you can not make a case out of half a verse...must read the one before and after and in this case all of the one you are quoting........
